Bought a pair of these for a snes emulator on a windows desktop. The setup was easy enough, pretty much plug it in and configure it on the emulator. The controllers feel pretty cheap but the d-pad and buttons have had no issues so far. Really wish the cable was about a foot longer. I knew for the price I wasnt getting a top of the line product, but so far Im not dissatisfied.

Update as of 4-7-17: I had severe issues with the original 4 controllers, however Kiwitata contacted me and was willing to not only refund me, but send me 4 more controllers for the hassle. The new controllers are definitely better, but still a bit touchy. Thanks for the customer support. These guys stand behind their product, so give them a shot. --------------------------------------------- Original review: I did not have high hopes for these controllers, but was surprised at just how terrible my experience has been. I purchased two sets of two, so four controllers showed up today total. Now, this isnt my first rodeo with 3rd party controllers, so I expected stiff controls at first, but these are bad. Heres what Im experiencing with each controller (by the way 4 of 4 controllers have an issue: 1st Controller: Right on the D-Pad requires The Hulk to press it before its recognized, and when it does eventually break your thumb and work, it also causes you to move up. 2nd Controller: The Hulk better call She Hulk- The Start Button takes a lot of pressing to get it to function. 3rd Controller: Everything kind of works when it wants to.... thats not helpful. 4th controller: I just gave up at this point. One of the buttons didnt work. Oh, by the way, ALL of the control responses were super sluggish too. Im afraid these just arent going to cut it. These just arent worth the time or money. I will be returning these. Bummer too; they gain one star for being super lightweight and arriving on time. Thats something I guess.

Started using emulators on my PC and bought this so I could play SNES games. Since most modulators let you map buttons, I also use it for NES games which is great because at first I thought Id have to buy both. So far, no issues.

For the price this set of controllers is great. It took 4 months of non-stop use, maybe 20 hours+ a week, for one of the buttons to start finally giving out and sticking. Sure there are better - but for $8 a piece this is a real bargain.

For the price you are not going to find a better USB Super Nintendo style controller. Everything feels good, not great but good and I would even say very good given the price. I have used the controller for over twenty four hours and had no issues. I enjoyed the nostalgic feeling this controller gave me.

We all know exactly what these SNES-like USB game pads are for. Ive owned and played a SNES since I was 4, I still have an original SNES controller and I use it a lot, so Im intimately familiar with how the genuine article looks and feels. By comparison, the kiwitata model feels slightly more rigid and less prone to flexing or bending, the surface feels smoother or slicker, its slightly darker in color, the shoulder buttons are a bit mushier, and the face buttons stand a bit taller. Its enough to catch me out sometimes, unless I manage to get properly immersed in a game. Its better than playing with the keyboard though. Oddly enough, when I first plugged them in, the computer didnt recognize them. I rebooted the machine, and it still didnt see the game controllers. I thought one might be dead on arrival, so I swapped to the other one, no joy. I rebooted the machine again, and lo and behold theyve been working fine ever since. Computers, amirite?

Ordered a set, one controller was faulty. Contacted kiwitata and they promptly sent another set. One of those was also faulty, but I ended up with 2 controllers that work well.
