> 3 dayI got this to replace the current sanding pad on a Makita rotary sander. The pad backing is made of cheap plastic and it lasted about 3 uses before the plastic wore down and the screws were no longer securing it to the unit. My takeaway? Pay a little more for a better replacement.

> 3 dayOrdered two replacement pads so Id have a spare when the first one ran out. Ive owned and replaced several of these sanders and replaced pads multiple times. It does not fit the BO5010. Frustrating. Looks like a cheap ripoff of the real thing, and it doesnt even look like it would last long if it did fit. Overall, very poor quality.

> 3 dayThis was supposed to be a replacement for my Makita orbital sander the holes never lined up I had to drill new holes if you don’t get it perfectly centered when you drill your own holes the unit will not operate correctly

> 3 dayThe screw holes that come pre-drilled in this pad are for countersunk for flat-head screws. However my Makita has round head screws with fixed washers and they wont fit in the provided holes. Youll need to countersink the holes with a brad point or forstner bit. Not a big deal but it is clearly not designed for the Makita sander.
