So this works amazing but I can not set it on auto smart mode as high speed for fan is to loud. Instead I run it on the other auto mode and it just runs on the next setting down from high. The build quality is great I honestly dont know if you can get a quieter fan. But there is no way you can run this on high fan speed and enjoy a movie, tv, or music. Works for me on the next setting down from high temps dropped alot does its job.

Hookup simple, started right away. The unit performs about as well as one can expect. Running Energy Center channel, 2 Klipsch towers, two Klipsch side surrounds, 2 Polk towers for the rear channel, and a Klipsch 10 sub off a Denon 7.2 receiver. Had a thermal shutdown playing Stairway to Heaven before I bought the unit, so I tried it again with the unit and the fans kicked on as they were supposed to. Sort of regret not getting the same unit [front-blowing] with the digital display, but hey, as long as it can keep the beast cooler than it was, Ill take it.

I have had one of these for well over a year. Even during the summer heat wave my receiver, on a shelf inside a cabinet, stayed cool enough to avoid triggering the overheating circuit in my Denon receiver. So this last purchase was for a friend because I am confident it will provide long reliable service.

I love my tunes, LOUD! My Denon shuts off if gets too hot, unlike my Yamaha av receiver It actually caught Fire! My Denon is playing threw 2, Dual 12-3 way Cerwin Vegas.....and it Cranks. This was the BEST ADD ON EVER!!!!!!! Now I can crank it up to 80 and she dont miss a lick, 60-63 was Tops before, on volume control! You will NOT be disappointed. I love the fact it turns on and off as fan is needed, I just turn it on Hi and leave it there. Bet my neighbors really love me now! I purchased the Aircom S7, fits perfect on top of receiver, this is a must have if you like your tunes and are tired of it shutting down, I dont care how much spent on perfect receiver, it isnt perfect til you have the Aircom unit. Absolutely LOVE IT!! THANK YOU AIRCOM!!!!

This product was as advertised it brought temperature from 116 down to mid 80s very happy so far with this purchase 5 stars is not enough to give this equipment

I just turned it on with the smart cool setting and never looked back. It cools the receiver and I could see it turn on when there is a heavy load on the amp.

The Aircom S10 is working just like I hoped. I keep the fan on low in Smart mode and I never notice the sound unless all the audio is muted. Even then it is barely noticeable.
