Great addition to my new Yamaha RX-V383 5.1ch receiver. I bought it because I got a new stand for my TV with a square glass base sitting on top of the receiver blocking the vents, Not to mention these AV receivers dont have cooling fans. I can say this should vastly improve my receivers lifespan. The instructions are a little hard to understand but I keep it in Smart mode and it turns on every couple of minutes, runs for a few minutes and turns off. Its a few inches longer than my receiver front to back and sticks off the ends but it was either the 17 or the 12 and that was way too small. Very good value for the price.

An excellent product. Footprint covers the top of my Denon AVR-X2400H and provides excellent cooling. Upon initial start up of my AVR, I noticed the unit seem to be running at a high operating temperature ( Denons are excellent receivers, but are known to produce more than average operating heat). The S10 so far has reduced the heat output to a barely warm-to-touch feeling. Wish the fan speed LED indicator was a soft blue color rather than the bright white. It sometimes distracts when watching television late at night. A push button dimmer button would have been a nice option. With this addition to my home theater set up, it is hoped this unit will add extra years to the life of my receiver. After all, heat is the primary destroyer of electronic hardware and I dont need to send my unit to an early grave.

I have had one of these for well over a year. Even during the summer heat wave my receiver, on a shelf inside a cabinet, stayed cool enough to avoid triggering the overheating circuit in my Denon receiver. So this last purchase was for a friend because I am confident it will provide long reliable service.

I have this unit cooling a 7 channel amplifier that is powered on 12 hours a day for 7 days. Most times my amplifier is on low volumes, but during sporting events or on busy weekend nights where the volume needs to be turned up a bit it gets hot. The AIR COM i got sucks out the heat from the bottom and out from the front, makes it perfect for the amps location. It insures that the amp stays cool when needed increasing its lifespan. I’ve had this unit for nearly a year now and have not had a single issue with the AIRCOM nor the amp. Super happy with it.

I have a Denon x3600h receiver that is in an AV rack that has no ventilation except towards the face (no vents up, down, or side to side). It was too hot. This went right on top and is very slim, and blows the air out the front (the only direction it can go). Net result is receiver is much cooler. It was built much better than I hoped. The only things I dont like are it has a slim wall wart power supply - in an AV rack plug space is at a premium. The light on front isnt dimmable and is very bright. Otherwise 100% exactly what I wanted and hoped for.

I love this unit!!! I have a unique rack for my HT equipment and have always had cooling issues. So when I recently upgraded to a marantz sr7011 I really needed to find a solution and this unit looks and works perfectly

Exactly what I needed. My amp has huge heat syncs and gets pretty hot when I crank it loud for long sessions. Mcintosh stuff has built-in power guard that will shut it down if it doesnt get rid of the heat. This thing removes it well and keeps it from overheating. I tried using the smart function, but its just easier to start it up along with the amp when I have a session. I set it up to auto start on at fan level 2 which is super quiet and programmed all the display lighting off because I dont really like looking at it. So all I can see is the fan level light for a sec when it first goes on, then just the tiny little dot light shows its active. When Im done, I let it run 20 minutes after amp shutdown and then manually shut it off for the night. Its so much better and more effective than what I had before. It fits perfectly, is unobtrusive and sleek, very quiet too. Sometimes I have to turn it up to 3 which is audible, but cant be heard over the volume levels being used to warrant the higher fan speed. Yeah, Im old, but I still like it loud. Everything else in the pro audio world is ridiculously priced, so I was very happy to pay the reasonable price for this piece of quality pro gear.

A quiet fan system designed for cooling receivers, amplifiers, DVRs, and other AV components. Protects components from overheating, performance issues, and shortened lifespans. Programming features two thermal trigger modes and four speed control options. Contains three dual-ball bearing blowers with PWM-controlled motors to minimize noise. Dimensions: 17 x 13.5 x 1.5 in. | Exhaust: Front | Airflow: 160 CFM | Noise: 24 dBA | Bearings: Dual Ball A quiet cooling fan system designed to be placed on top of AV components such as receivers, routers, game consoles, and AV cabinet components. Maintaining an optimal temperature for components prevents overheating, ensures constant performance, and extends their lifespan. The controller on the front of the cooling system features a smart thermostat trigger and fan speed control. The steel enclosure houses two dual-ball bearing blowers that pull heat out of the component and exhaust towards the front. The dual ball bearings also allow this fan system to be mounted horizontally or vertically. Its low-profile design enables the unit to fit in tight spaces. Includes corded power adapter to plug the fan system through an outlet. Intelligent Programming There are three programming settings available which includes two temperature trigger modes. The fans can also be set to run continuously or be turned off. Four fan speeds are available for each active mode and will determine the speed at which the fans run when they are triggered. This ensures optimal airflow and noise levels for your application. Design and Construction Each system features dual-ball bearing blowers rated at 67,000 hours and are certified by CE and RoHS. Blowers contain a PWM-controlled motor used to minimize noise during speed variations and are suspended in mid-air with silicone mounts to absorb vibrations. A low-profile design allows the unit to fit in applications with a limited height clearance. Aluminum and steel construction enables additional components up to 30 pounds to be stacked on top.
