Wanted a simple cooling solution for my Denon 3700 AVR. This works great. Yes, you can hear the fan, if there is no other sound or music playing. I just set the max level to the second speed and forget about it. Never do hear the fan, but, will see the front lights when it starts. And that is the only way that I know that the fan is cooling. Never do hear it when I am watching TV. I have the rear exhaust model and it works the best for my setup. Would def buy again.

My Krell amp, CD player and Audio Research tube preamp were stacked on top of each other creating a lot of heat. I was considering some boxer fans when another audiophile friend suggested this... works perfectly.

Packaged very well. Built like a tank. Most importantly it keeps my receivers cool. My receivers have never been this cool. Even when they werent in a cabinet they ran quite hot. The only issue is the light while the fans are running. I can turn it off but cant dim it. Other than that Im extremely satisfied.

I just spent a small fortune on my first home theater. At the end of our first family movie night in the theater the receiver was so hot I could not even touch it. So I did some research and decided to purchase the Aircom S8 to cool the system.

It’s great to cool down big as recievers but it does get loud on full blast.

This level of cooling should be built into amplifiers - but only hi-end gear get that.

After updating my receiver, which tends to run hot, I had considered laying a muffin fan on top to help keep it cool. My concern was that I would be recirculating hot air in the cabinet instead of exhausting it. The Aircom S8 is perfect. It exhausts out a rectangular opening at the back of my cabinet and the receiver is running much cooler. While the fans are a little noisy at full speed on manual settings, Ive never had them run faster than half on Auto which is barely audible. The unit is solid, well made and highly recommended.

Automatic, quiet, and good exhaust. Would like an attachment to direct exhaust out the back of cabinet. This is to force the warmer air outside rather than recirculate in the cabinet.
