> 24 hourI recently purchased one of these to augment my hanging rack installation. I bought a new Denon AVR-X6500 and it runs awfully hot in the enclosed rack. I added this fan and it dropped my rack temps by almost 10 degrees F. Before I installed it the new Denon would be hot to the touch. Now the entire chassis is cool to the touch. Im sure the addition of this fan will extend its life as its no longer even slightly hot.

> 24 hourIts great to purchase a product that you can take out of the box, quickly review the manual (two minutes or less), plug in and its ready to start protecting your stereo receiver. I have an older Pioneer VSX-1121 that got rather warm after an hours use. The Aircom S8 keeps it cool, and Im sure will extend its life for years to come. If I ever need to replace the S8, I will upgrade to the T series, but only because Im a geek and would get a kick out of seeing the probe temperature. Thanks AC Infinity.

> 24 hourBought this for my new Marantz AVR. Overall, its a great product. However, I realised S8 is not quite suited for the tropics. The ambient temperature in my cabinet is about 29degC. As such, the unit never turns off as it cannot reach the lower cut-off temperture. As such a T8 with adjustable temperatures may be more suitable for me. I opted to keep the unit and turn off the unit using the trigger signal fr my AVR.

> 24 hourBought this for my A/V receiver. I have a glass enclosed component cabinet that was always too hot and I was tired of leaving the doors open all the time. This unit sits right on top of the receiver, over the vents, and can be set to be on all the time or go on at two preset temp limits. The unit looks nice - anodized black and fits well with my other home theater components. Its quiet and the airflow is really good with all three fans going. A little pricey for essentially 3 muffin fans but it does the job well

> 24 hourIm very happy with this product. The size fits perfectly. The range of options in terms of rear vs. top venting is excellent. The fan is quiet and the Smart fan feature is the right solution to balance noise vs. heat. The bonus feature is the ability to turn off the very bright fan speed light. Yes!

> 24 hourThis unit was the answer to my problem. My new Denon home theater system was creating an alarming amount of heat inside the cabinet that I keep my electronics in. Trouble free and automatic. It keeps things cool. I definitely recommend this fan unit!

> 24 hourI don’t know when it is on, which is good. I leave it on step two of power, turn off the optional spinning light, and place black electrical tape over the one LED. It is very, though not entirely, quiet. I have to get up to feel the air moving through the unit to the back of my open to the back cabinet, to make sure that it is on and working. Very satisfied so far.
