AC Infinity AIRCOM S8, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 17 Rear-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

I assume its doing its job well as my Marantz NR1607 hasnt caught on fire yet. It disappears well when sat on top of your receiver and is relatively quiet when under normal load. The automatic fan mode is really convenient for self regulation. Its definitely a niche product for those looking to protect their high end gear so its more of an insurance product than anything. Just be sure to dust around your gear regularly!

This is a fabulous product that is a must have for home theater products. I have purchase two of these cooling units for my AVRs and they make a difference in cooling down the units. They will extend the life of the product and helps out performance. Home theater products get really hot so the cooling units are an essential part of the set up. I have recommended these products to all of Best Buy Magnolia personnel I shop with to let their customers know about these great products. So glad I was able to find such a great product.

I had been installing several fans in equipment cabinets to maintain safe temp. Still lost several over the years. I bought several of these in various configuration and havent lost a piece so far. Easy install, no cabi et installation hassles and various settings

Had concerns about new Denon AVR running hot based on other reviews. With Aircom S8 receiver never becomes hot. Can sometimes hear fan running if no audio present, however fan noise is minimal and has never distracted from audio or visual. Unit has a pleasing look to it. It is a simple product that works well and looks good in Home Theatre setting.

Liked the small vertical cross section of the fan unit. I have it setting on a Pioneer Elite SC LQ 904 receiver. Temperature inside the cabinet never rises above 85 Degrees F when the unit is on. Fan is a bit noisy but only noticeable if standing next to the cabinet. Like the auto-on, auto-off feature. The styling blends in nicely with all my audio video electronics.

I recently purchased one of these to augment my hanging rack installation. I bought a new Denon AVR-X6500 and it runs awfully hot in the enclosed rack. I added this fan and it dropped my rack temps by almost 10 degrees F. Before I installed it the new Denon would be hot to the touch. Now the entire chassis is cool to the touch. Im sure the addition of this fan will extend its life as its no longer even slightly hot.

Where has this product been all my life?!! It completely tames the heat buildup in my A/V equipment cabinet. I used to leave the door ajar to prevent the 5-channel amp from over-heating and that allowed dust to eventually build up inside the cabinet. Now I can leave the door closed while the built-in ventilation system in combination with this product keeps everything cool and clean!

Its great to purchase a product that you can take out of the box, quickly review the manual (two minutes or less), plug in and its ready to start protecting your stereo receiver. I have an older Pioneer VSX-1121 that got rather warm after an hours use. The Aircom S8 keeps it cool, and Im sure will extend its life for years to come. If I ever need to replace the S8, I will upgrade to the T series, but only because Im a geek and would get a kick out of seeing the probe temperature. Thanks AC Infinity.
