> 3 dayLike the width but should have looked at the length. Wish I would have gone with the digital screen too this Will fit my Crestron Adagio but is too long for my denon 950. Should have gone with the 12 inch I guess. I would think it would be shorter. Have 2 fans of yours in my rack system but still may put the unit I bought on top of Adagio and purchase another unit if it will fit the length of my denon 950 and have the digital programming screen.

> 3 dayAV receivers primarily fail because heat issues. So I bought this one. If you have an expensive receiver, this is a worthy investment. I have Marantz 6015 AV receiver for which I paid $2200 with tax. It sits well on top of it. Looks as if made for it. Auto cooling keeps the receiver cool all the time and increases air flow.

> 3 dayHigh quality from the cooling unit all the way thru the packaging. So far, the unit is operating exactly as it should.. I use the unit set to the orange mode with the fan speed dialed back one step from max. Very quiet.

> 3 dayI have two of these fans one for my Denon receiver and one for my outlaw amp both remain cool at all times. Fans are very quiet and extremely efficient.

> 3 dayIts great to purchase a product that you can take out of the box, quickly review the manual (two minutes or less), plug in and its ready to start protecting your stereo receiver. I have an older Pioneer VSX-1121 that got rather warm after an hours use. The Aircom S8 keeps it cool, and Im sure will extend its life for years to come. If I ever need to replace the S8, I will upgrade to the T series, but only because Im a geek and would get a kick out of seeing the probe temperature. Thanks AC Infinity.

> 3 dayI habitually swap/change/switch stereo components, and as you know, covering up the top vents on any piece of equipment is never a good idea. The Aircom S8 fits my setup perfectly. I have it set to auto, which only runs the fan when needed and the fan can only be heard (faintly) after I shut everything down for the night. Keeps my Denon receiver nice and cool and acts as another shelf that I can put components on. Build quality is excellent and with all the component swapping, I have yet to scratch the top. Heat is the killer of electronics. This will help prolong the life of your devices.

> 3 dayThis is a very good product. Im using this with a Denon AVR-X4700H that runs hot. I chose this over the more expensive T8 because, IMHO, the T8 just offers too many customization options. The S8 is the same size and pushes the same amount of air. The S8 does its job, and is virtually silent, unless running at its top (fourth) speed. Then there is a noticeable whine. Its not intrusive, but its there. If it were not for that whine I would have given it five stars.
