EStoy muy, pero muy contento con la inversion realizada en esta LAPTOP. Le aumente la memoria RAM, tiene ranura para aumentralo; y la memoria SSD 500GB. Ha quedado como una lapton premium, y amitad de precio. Inverti 80$ adicioanles para aumentar las dos emorias. Feliz

If youre buying this laptop as is, forget it. You should buy this laptop because of its ultra cheap upgradeability... Within 5 minutes I had 20 gb of memory... Another 5 minutes I nearly quadrupled the drive space to 500gb... All for a final price of under $500... Cant be beat... The best deal for people that lean towards the geeky side and can do simple uogrades... Simply can not be beat.

I absolutely love this laptop it has the capability of reading all written words and can transfer speech into text. Absolutely love the ability to use my fingerprint to log into the laptop instead of trying to remember passwords. This laptop also has it to where you can type with your eyes another great feature.

I have been an Acer customer for about 10 years and never had an issue...until now. My daughter needed a new laptop before her Senior year, so I had no hesitation replacing her HP laptop with a new Acer Aspire 5 A515-46-R14K 15.6 laptop from Amazon. She set it up but did not begin using it until school started August 2021. It has had very light usage; shes not a gamer and only uses it for school assignments and projects. Needless to say I was shocked and extremely disappointed it died on her on November 14, 2021. The screen is completely blank, but the keyboard is backlit and the fan is running so loud it sounds like its going to take off an fly across the room, so I know it is getting power. I contacted technical support through Amazon, and they transferred me to Acer. The Acer technician had me hold the reset button on the bottom of the laptop for 30 seconds and power it back on...NOTHING except the same black screen, backlit keyboard, loud fan, and nothing else. Considering weve had it less than 6 months, I thought surely they would send a replacement. NOPE...I was given a support ticket number, an email with instructions for how to send it in for repair, and to add insult to injury, I have to pay the shipping costs!

Excelente producto, nada malo que decir, le actualice la memoria a 12gb y le puse un hdd como segundo disco, el equipo es super rapido. La tapa es de aluminio lo que le da un look premiun.

I wont go on and on about upgrades. I added 4GB because that will run in dual channel. You could add a bigger stick but it will only run dual channel until 8GB system total then single channel from 8 at which point it will stumble to 12 or 20. You cant play games that would take more than 8GB anyway. If you use Opera web browser you can have 100 tabs open with 8GB because it will Sleep the ones you arent actively looking at, Chrome Hogs ram. Do upgrade storage, I recommend upgrading the NVME as I had 86GB left from switching to windows 10 and adding Avast antivirus and CCleaner when that 86GB fills up, that wont be a really fast boot drive anymore. I could delete some bloatware but its not going to free up that much and this is a gift for someone else and I will let them decide what to keep.

Sadly I cant give a clear review since it wouldnt even turn on when it arrived. Dont know who to blame but either way I guess this means a trip to best buy for another laptop.

We have bought 3 of these acer aspire 5s in the last 2 years, replacing very slow hp laptops. The aspire boots up in about 10 aec even afer two years. Our old hps would take about 5 minutes and had too much blos5ware.

I bought this laptop for my son for Christmas, he loves it, hes disabled, and plays games with it mostly. He also likes to look information up online. At the age of 45 Its his first laptop that hes ever owned. He says the print is a little to small but thats just a matter of adjustment. Just getting it up and running, so far it seems to be a great laptop. E uses it daily.. Ill write more in a month or so after hes used it awhile to let everyone know how its running then.
