I got this laptop for my daughter July 2021 for school and home, i noticed the power cord tip when plug into the laptop is not tight is loose, i dont think it come with the right power cord. Other than that this laptop overall its been great no problems at all, school, home, games, Minecraft, ROBLOX, videos fast doesnt lag. I will recommended.

Third time very lucky! My first purchase of a smaller ACER laptop was a dud! The speakers would not work and neither Amazon or Acer could make them work. My second purchase was a HP laptop and it kept freezing! Neither Amazon nor HP could fix it. This was my third attempt and it is great - no regrets. Also, I am really impressed that Acer actively encourage you to upgrade memory and storage; they even provide hardware to mount an internal drive or SSD.

The computer was really nice very clean and came in a good box and for the first few days it was okay but I didnt do very much with it at that point but then I started to use it for school na dit ran really slow after that not just for school it would take several minutes for me to look up something and it got really annoying. I then requested to return it and got my money back

Just received this today. Tried to load Debian 10, seemed to load ok but just got blinking cursor on boot. Decided to try Debian 11 (bullseye) with XFCE since Debian 11 will be released soon. Had to use the firmware version in order for wifi to work, no big deal. Booted fine and is QUITE FAST with stock ram of 4gb. Was going to order another 8gb, am not going to do that now, this thing is plenty fast. Note that I bought this as a chromebook replacement, as i am sick of googles nonsense and am slowly divesting myself of anything google. In that use case this was a HUGE win.

Battery life is long, display is HD and excellent, fast finger print reader and aluminum top cover. I like it so much, the only thing its big and bit heavy + Acer could made the laptop design bit sharper to look it more smart.

Beats an early Surface Pro and a Lenovo laptop that Ive owned previously. Very easy to set up and use. Fast. Excellent for my requirements! I can check my email, write letters, and pay bills -simple tasks but just what I need! I love it!

I use this primarily for MS Office, online video, and a little research. More than I need for these activities. Storage is VERY SMALL so I upgraded the HDD.

Its a great laptop sometimes it can act a bit uppity but just restart it if you just installed some apps. Also it comes on S mode which you can change to regular windows 10 for FREE! Go in settings > application > Switch to windows 10 mode
