> 3 dayHad this thing for 2 years completely terrible always begging for updates and when it does update it dosnt tell you after which when you try to turn it on to use the screen stays black while everything else boots up so you have to either way 5 mins for it to pop on or completely hard reset the laptop, Don’t even bother with its battery life says it’s over 5 hours in reality it’s more like 1hour and 20 mins I have to keep the damn thing plugged in 24/7 to get any use out of it don’t ever buy this save yourself the trouble and find something else

> 3 dayThe only complaint I have is that after a year and a half of ownership, with the laptop rarely used, the battery only lasts about 90 minutes. That’s far less than what the brand advertises.

> 3 dayThe computer was fine for what I needed. The problem is when I downloaded a windows update the computer wouldn’t boot up. It was stuck in a loop. I called Acer and they walked me through a few potential fixes but nothing worked. I sent the computer back to Acer, when they received it they called me and said they weren’t going to even look at it to fix it because they could tell water was spilled on it. My only option was to buy another computer from them. I did not spill water on it and there was no issue with the computer until I downloaded the update. It was clearly a software issue. This excuse about the water was a way for Acer to get out of their warranty. I’ll never buy an Acer product again.

> 3 dayOrdered this laptop on Prime Day for my Uncle who had a super old laptop that wasnt performing well. The laptop he had was at least 8 years old, was super heavy (Toshiba Satellite), super slow to load and just wasnt performing as it should. My Uncle doesnt do a lot of processing on the laptop but uses it mostly for online browsing, bill pay etc. Hes not exactly computer savvy when it comes to a lot of things so I wanted to keep it as basic as possible.
