I had two laptops over the past 11 years; ones an Acer ( March 2010-March 2015 ) the other a HP ( March 25,2015- May 31st, 2021 ). Anyway, Acer laptops have top tier specs and powerful processors at reasonable prices, and this Aspire 5 laptop does not disappoint. While there is no optic drive, getting an external drive shouldnt be a problem. The Full HD screen is remarkable, the 10th Generation Intel Core i3 processor is quick, and its light, again no CD/DVD drive, but easy on the hands. Im glad I decided to go back to Acer for my Third laptop, and this time, its going to Aspire and Inspire me for the next four or so years ( Im 51, so, its never too late to tackle a laptop ). Acer, Im back, and you got a winner with the Aspire 5!

I decided to take a chance and purchased this Acer laptop even after reading the negative reviews, I received it on time, unpacked it, plugged it in, and had my laptop up and running in minutes without any problems with WIFI connection, wireless printer hookup, or any problems mentioned in the negative reviews. It’s very fast and so far so good I definitely would buy another one with no hesitation!

I bought this Acer to replace an older Chromebook I bought 5 years ago. This is quite an upgrade from my previous model (also an Acer). The 14 screen is a great improvement over my smaller 11 screen and having a full keyboard is really helpful, I especially like the lighted keyboard. So far, the system was very easy to set up and everything is working well. This is a good looking and good performing machine for the price.

I love the laptop its self, compared from using a chromebook os to an acer aspire 5 is so much better along with the quality of it ♥️

This Acer laptop was something I bought in late June 2021 as a backup. I opened the Amazon shipping box when it arrived but did not break the seal on the inner Acer box. I opened it tonight when I finally needed it and found that the laptop was wrapped securely with undamaged shipping materials, but had major crush damage to one side. It powers up but 50% of the screen is non-functional, the plastic housing around the hinges and the USB drive is warped and crushed, and the top and bottom of the laptop are misaligned. This is completely unusable.

Not as advertised. The screen is dull, washed out. The track pad is terrible. Buy something else.

You cant be this laptop at this price. Backlit keyboard, big clear screen, and great battery life.

Thin and lightweight. The color looks expensive. This is a solid choice. Battery was good but remember this isnt a gaming laptop. Man this has got to be the fastest turning on and ready to rock laptop Ive ever used and I just bought a 700 gaming laptop
