> 3 dayI was a bit nervous ordering this computer. I had the older version that was a bit bigger than this one that I was replacing due to age. For the cost, I went for it and crossed my fingers it would work for remote working and basic everyday tasks. So far, I’m very impressed! I was nervous to take the S mode off to install an anti virus. (I’m not tech savvy AT ALL). But I went ahead and did it and to my amazement my computer didn’t burst into flames lol. It’s a great smaller computer! I love the backlit keyboard too!

> 3 day“no bootable device “ seems to be this laptop’s mantra. Unit crashes while in sleep mode or not in use. When it’s in use, seems ok. For now it’s a doorstop.

> 3 dayI purchased this to do a little work from home. Great for those apps and general browsing. Probably not for gamers or video editors but great for what I do

> 3 dayThe mouse pad on this thing is so incredibly annoying. If you click in the bottom portion of the pad it opens a drop down menu. This feature is difficult to get used to. I really dislike it. The screen glitches out all the time too. Big black spots appear on the screen randomly all the time. Other than that I like the computer. Battery life is great. I charge at night and it lasts all day.

> 3 dayI had an Acer for 7 years (yes you read that correctly), no issues. I’ve had Dell and HP, and since Acer lived the longest I opted to buy the same brand. Setup was super easy. Unfortunately the rest was not. The batter won’t charge after the initial charge. This might be a faulty power cord, but getting one through Acer will take 5/7 business days. So now I have no laptop for over a week. To initiate the request I received an email - which was confusing, as I thought giving all my details to the CSA on the phone and him confirming it would be sent out was all I needed to do. He did say it needed to be registered…..I did that online when I set it up…but ok. Of course, the email link I was sent, when I click on it and begin to enter my details, immediately reverts back to the start before I finish. Every. Single. Time.
