This is the first Chromebook Ive owned and I have to say it is a great laptop ! I love the 2 in 1 function with the stylus built in. Its a great size for drawing. Computer is fast to load up and the battery life is fine even when using the touchscreen for an extended period of time. The aspect ratio of the screen is not ideal for watching movies but for everything else its great! The biggest limitation is the amount of programs available for Chromebook vs. Windows or Mac so it really depends what you are wanting to use it for.

Fan noise 10x more annoying and distracting than any other laptop Ive ever used.

This is my second Chromebook and, coincidentally, my second Acer. I purchased my first Acer Chromebook (Acer C910-54M1 15.6-Inch LED 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) Chromebook - Intel Core i5 i5-5200U 2.20 GHz - Black) back in June of 2015 as a way to move away from my 13 MacBook Pro. Excellent experience with that particular Acer Chromebook and felt I was ready to step up to something else. So glad I picked this new Acer Spin 13 instead of the Google Pixelbook 2 I originally had my eyes on. Would have made a nice pairing with my Google Pixel 2 XL phone, but the Acer Spin 13 fits the bill nicely. Great screen, excellent backlit keyboard, vibrant colors, serious horsepower, and the battery lasts quite a long time.

Originally, my plan was to purchase a pixel slate because I needed a device that I could use to draw and wanted something that could detach from the keyboard, but the more reviews I read, the more I began to think this would be a bad idea, so I looked into Chromebooks and Im glad I did. Eventually, this machine will replace both my Windows laptop and my Android tablet. This would not have been possible without the addition of both the Google Play store and the Linnux terminal. Through Linnux Ive got a fully functional version of GIMP and through Android I have Sketchbook. Going from Office to Google docs is a bit of an adjustment, but I *think* Ive found all the functionality I need for formatting books.

This chromebook laptop is a basic, no frills computer that doesn’t have a ton of storage and isn’t amazingly fast, but it is good for doing school work and streaming tv and movies. It only has 4GB of RAM, which is less than ideal, especially for the current price tag. If you are a big gamer, I probably would not recommend this chromebook, but all I needed was just something that was easy to use and I could do work on and watch Netflix. This has been working well so far and is lightweight and has a decent sized screen. It’s a great option for college for writing papers. This can be converted from a laptop to a tablet, and the screen flips easily. The touch screen is responsive, but slightly less responsive than my other tablet. This computer has both usb and HDMI ports and has a decent battery life. Overall, its a good chromebook, but is limited by only having 4GB of RAM.

Our 17yo daughter, whos not super computer-centered, had no problem setting this up and getting going. Very nice format, compact and powerful.

This is not a rating of the Chromebook - but of the seller.
