> 3 dayThis laptop is truly amazing. Granted its been about a decade since Ive gotten a new personal laptop, however what a time to be alive! This Chrome OS is truly undeniably fast and quick to start up. This is perfect if you hate loading time like I do. The transition from laptop to tablet and vice versa is seamless and natural. I do wish I had confirmation about whether I can put the tablet keyboard-down and not suffer any issues (none so far to report).

> 3 dayI got a really good deal on this laptop/tablet. Its performance is stunning. The ChromeOS is superior to Windows in every respect (except running windows applications), but with Linux supported and Windows emulators that run on Linux, I suspect that wont be a problem much longer.

> 3 dayI got this laptop during the Cyber Monday sale as my first ever computer that doesnt have Windows on it. My desktop at home has Windows 10 on it but I havent turned it on yet since this Chromebook arrived last week since I wanted to give the Acer a fair chance and see how much I really miss Windows 10. So far, there hasnt been anything that has made me wish I was using Windows 10! The only times where I have felt a little bit inconvenienced is when I need to use Microsoft Office products. I say that I was only slightly inconvenienced because I am still able to use all of the Office programs (in multiple ways actually, now that there is Google Play Store support), they are just a different layout than I am used to and may not have some of the more extensive features that the Windows version has. For the vast majority of users, however, there will be a small adjustment period and then itll be fine after that.

> 3 dayThis review is for the Acer Chromebook 4GB / 128GB / 14 HD model. When comparing this to other Chromebook options available with similar specs, this is priced a bit high. However, I like its smooth operation, slim design and vibrant display. This model has 4gb of RAM, which is a little low -8gb would be much better. Still, this is slim, lightweight and very easy to travel with. The keyboard could be better and it doesnt feel premium. Theres a lot to like about this Chromebook and some cons as mentioned, but I think you could do better at this current price point ($371 at the time of this review).

> 3 dayI would recommend this more for a student, not much of a work station, or a notebook, more like a college campus tool. At first I was impressed, I thought I could have used this to continue to learn coding Python, Java, C, etc... But after a while the limitations became very apparent, yes Linux is available, but limited, most of the things you can download are some what functional, but its definitely not a notebook compression. Before any one shuts this review for the fact that the purpose of this was for internet browsing capabilities, just keep this in mind, remember tablets, yeah, also why would Acer out in hardware comparable to their windows version of the spin 13 in the spin 15 charging a hundred dollar more, wtf? As I can see, Chromebooks are just another tablet in a market saturated with gadgets we dont even need when the phone market has eliminated the need for a internet only tablet aka Chromebooks. Get a real notebook dont make the mistake I did, I am now trying to save up for a real notebook. Google stop making more useless gadgets, all we ask is for a simple laptop that can be used for learning, working, coding at a reasonable price, mind you there are Linux laptops with the same hardware as this spin 13 yet they charge a thousand, why? Google has proven that the prices some of these notebook charge today may not be solely on the hardware but based on licensing, heck theres even a MacBook with the same specs as the spin 13 for thousands. Wished there was a reasonable laptop for people who dont wish to break the bank, and wish to use em for work purposes, if it could be a Linux too, that would be a plus, nothing against windows but window is far too restrictive on letting you mess with it, Chromebook is even worse then Windows not allowing you to do much unless approved by the higher up. FYI dont buy the Acer Spin 13, get the windows version instead, for a hundred dollar more, you can actually use it as a laptop, and with the same hardware too which shows you what a scan Chromebook and windows really are.
