> 3 dayBeautiful screen, nice keyboard. Fast and smooth. Only thing is that this is slightly heavy so not great for tablet mode. Other than that, its perfect for my home use. I dont travel with it much.

> 3 dayDo not buy! This chromebook seems a good deal, but screen cracked under normal use in just a few months. Acer wants $399 to fix the glass. Robbery! Will not be buying any further Acer products.

> 3 dayI have a workstation where I run real applications, so I was very interested in using crositini/linux and ssh -X with a chromebook to have a cheap mobile laptop. The touchscreen and tablet form factor seemed worth trying out as well. Im completely satisfied on both fronts. 80+% of what I do I can do natively on the Chromebook (email, office apps, etc), and indeed the linux VM does everything I hoped it would. I really like having a touch-screen and stylus for taking notes on. The battery life is excellent but its only a month old. Even if I forget to plug it in overnight, I can usually go the second day just fine if Im careful with it. But I easily get a full days work out of it on a full charge even heavy use with the screen full-bright.

> 3 dayIve been using this chromebook for about a month now, and its holding up great! One thing I like is that once I logged into my google account, all my previous settings from my old chromebook automatically uploaded (browser theme, desktop background, icon, bookmarks, etc.) It was nice not to have to go through the set up process again, it made for a seamless transition after my old laptop broke. Ive had a chromebook for years, so it was nice to see the consistency across different computers. It felt like an upgraded version of my beloved late laptop, so the transition was painless. I had no trouble adjusting to this one (other than learning the touch screen differences, since my old laptop didnt have a tablet mode).

> 3 dayPiece of junk. This chromebook routinely goes into sleep mode on its own (at full battery), even during use, and is very difficult to start again. I am not a computer novice and checked the settings to ensure that it shouldnt do this.

> 3 dayI had researched for a while and seemed all my problems would disappear switching my kid to Chrome book and this Acer laptop. After playing with it and doing the folding and just manipulating it, the thing reset itself. Using it normally and now delicately a few times I noticed fans going wild and some lag. Becuase of remote schooling I wasnt going to go through the song and dance they put you through but my hopes of just working and my life becoming easire were completely dashed. Massive dissapointment, never buying ACER ever again. Then the other thing to note if switching to chromebook for school or a group is.. they will own your laptop, period.. you cannot switch to other accounts or use it for any other functions or apps except what they choose. The argument is its safer and... etc but bottom line is you cannot use it freely yourself for all the other 18 hours a day. Not even creating a seperate account with a password for the paretn or anything logical. Iwished I had just gone to best buy, bought a regualr windows laptop, downloaded chrome and be in control of my hardware while having somewhere / someone to deal with the fact I ofcorse as my luck has it, were sold the lemon... The chromebook constraint problem is not the reason for raitng but the fact i got sold a lemon is
