I bought this laptop after seeing several negative feedback from people who received the laptop dead because it would not turn on, the same thing happened to me, I connected it and nothing happened, however it is not a defect of the laptop, you have to connect the cable strongly until click and it will turn on, I was about to return it and ask for a refund, but everything is fine.

I dont do a lot of heavy gaming, so I wanted to buy a low-level gaming laptop because I knew it would do everything I needed to do. For context, the main games I play on my laptop are The Sims (with a ton of cc and a few mods), Stardew Valley (with a fair amount of mods), Terraria, and then basic in-browser games like tetris and whatever else when Im truly bored. For the most part, this computer has handled running them all super well. Surprisingly, it has the most difficulty with the in-browser games, which tend to lag or drop frames. To be fair, I dont really know why Mahjongg 3D needs to be rendered in such intense detail anyway, but whatever.

Laptop was dead on arrival. Returned for a full refund.

The computer wouldnt charge straight out of the box. I plugged it into every available outlet, all of which work. I made sure every connection point was snug, and that the charger was fully into the laptop, and still no charge.

The nitro 5, ANY MODEL is supposed to have one free year of acer 24/7 technical support. It did not come with it.

I use this at work so I dont use it often. Today out of no where it shut off and wont turn back on.
