10-06-2025Ive only had it this laptop for about 4 days now and its working really nice as a low-mid ranged Gaming Laptop which is fine as I purchased it primarily for classes with the ability to run games on my off time which so far so good other than it sometimes feels like Im fighting with the keyboard. If Im not pressing with decent force itll ignore the key about a fourth of the time. Hoping I can find a setting or something to adjust this

Greater than one weekI bought this in lieu of building a gaming pc . This laptop performed well with the current games I play without too many issues. When you first get the laptop you have to go into the Graphic cards setting to allow it to use the GEforce graphics card on your games/applications otherwise it uses the main GPU which is....bad. It does run hot when playing at higher settings ~80C and the battery life is subpar to put it lightly. Overall decent for the price.

> 3 dayThis is a great laptop that comes with many features. The Acer Nitro 5 has an extra ram slot for upgrading, it also includes an extra m.2 nvme drive slot, and a 2.5” drive adapter. The laptop has a plastic chassis yet it is very durable there is a little flex on the deck but it isn’t noticeable in everyday use. This laptop offers a great 1080p IPS display at 60hz, which isn’t greatest refresh rate for gaming, but is amazing for media consumption. The keyboard has smaller keys and a non standard layout which may not be good for some users. One of the best parts of this laptop is the multitude of ports and functionality this laptop can offer. My final point which matters for anyone who plans on being away from the wall the Acer Nitro 5 has a great power managing function. If you are only browsing the web, typing documents, or even light media consumption the GTX 1650 will not run and the processors integrated graphics will be used to save on power. All around this is a great value and performance laptop for the money if you can find it for around 550 to 600 (which is the standard price from Acer).

> 3 dayPoor build quality. It just comes off as disposable....like diapers. The keyboard back light didnt work. It is a cheap computer...it is what it is.

> 3 dayWe purchased this for our daughter in HS. It runs fine but a way too hot to run alone without additional cooling. It required us to purchase a cooling pad otherwise it would thermal throttle after any short usage. Not gaming, but just for word processing or watching YouTube. They really need to do a better job with the cooling. It runs with no issues with a cooling pad (those laptop stands that have fans in them) but really why do we have to do that?

Greater than one weekAmazing all around laptop i got for $599. Able to do school work and play games when I need to. Runs everything smooth with gtx 1650. No overheating problems so far. > 3 dayLlegó 1 día antes de lo esperado. Es mejor de lo que esperaba. He jugado Valorant y supera los 144 fps. Recomiendo para juegos de requisitos bajos-medios y para programas de ingeniería
