I have had this laptop for almost half a year. Its a great laptop, if it doesnt overheat, which it does.

Been little over a year and the laptop doesn’t even work anymore. Won’t charge or turn on.

People that say this is the best budget gaming laptop is a lie. After first unboxing the laptop it looked very appealing with the casing, however after many hours of configurations and use, this laptop is a pretty bad buy due to the abysmal battery life and heat management.

This arrived with a dead pixel on my display and left clicking with the touch pad wasnt always responsive. At $899 (prime) this wasnt a terrible deal as it has a 144hz display and 16gb of ram, but I was able to snag a Dell G3 for $735 + tax that came with a free $150 visa gift card. (9th gen i5, 1660TI gpu, twice as much SSD storage, 8gb RAM, 60hz). Ill be using the $150 gift card to upgrade the G3 to 16gb of RAM and replace the 60hz display with a 120hz, which, in my opinion, makes the G3 a much better value-buy versus last gens Helios 300.

Let me start by saying you will not see a Gaming Laptop at this price anywhere. (829.00). This thing is very slim but a tank. It is built very well and feels sturdy. It is not touchscreen but it is 144hz.

I got this laptop 4 days ago.The screen of this laptop is very good.The keyboard buttons have also great quality.My all games are working very fine in this laptop without any lag.The temperature goes almost 70 degree Celsius during gaming and battery life is only 1 hour during gaming.As this product give high performance less battery life is obvious...

It came with a dead pixel in the middle of the screen. Everything works fine, its a beautiful gaming labtop, but by god since ive got it ive had to try and ignore it every time I use it. I dont think there can even be done about it and its just upsetting

I got it only for 2 games (Dota and Warframe) on high settings I still get lags, + it get so hot (keyboard) that you cant use it. oh and now some letters dont work you got to press very hard on it. My guess it got melt. You get only 2 hours of battery life when you even watch just the YouTube. And when you play on high settings even when laptop is plugged in, battery still dying faster. Also at 40% battery life (plugged in) overclocking GPU will shuts off and your (GTX1060) basically its not working so you cant play. I guess it just not for me. But it got very good sound quality.

I want to give a five star review but the thermals are horrible! I’m on the brink of returning it because of this problem and I had the Dell G5 and it never overheated like this mess. Just go with the Dell G5 but avoid the Dell G7. i7 8750 is a thermal mess avoid this processor! I undervolted and it still gets hot temperatures honestly for the cost I shouldn’t have problems like this.
