The screen has got grey overlay over a quarter of the screen after just 8 months of using it.

I have had this laptop for two years and I would definately recommend this if you are looking for a budget entry level gaming laptop, especially for VR. I game and do basic movie editing and music production.

Ive been using it for quite a few months now. No issues at all. Zero! All pros. ;P No cons. actually I do take that back. 2 cons. 1) only 3 usb 2.0/3.0 ports. I do like that it has a usb-c, but I dont have any peripherals that use it. 2) the edge where your wrists rest (say that ten times fast) is a bit sharp.

to start im a pc tech I bought this as a backup pc and I have to be honest this laptop is really nice it has midrange specs so it will play all your games well the build quality seems solid which i did not expect for the price point it feels quality the performance is great depending on how you have your power settings theres no lag no nothing just a nice smooth desktop performance the whole time and as a response to all of the negative reviews concerning the temps and throttling as long as you turn on cool boost in the acer predator program and or turn the fans on max settings while gaming and are in a cool place you wont have any issues most of these complaints i have seen are from noobs who dont realize thats part of laptop life to an extent and also are not turning the fan speed on max i would high recommend this laptop

Very powerful laptop. I needed something for mobile gaming and also for productivity on my down time at work. The computer is very powerful and with the nvme ssd it is also fast. The stock storage is small but there is room for a sata ssd. The main downfall ids the battery life which under heavy load is just more than an hour. But with everything crammed in here it is expected. It does get hot when gaming and you can feel it through they keys but its not unbearable.

Ive always had good experiences with Acer products, especially laptop. I wanted a gaming laptop under $1000.

As i know nothing about computer, i had a friend who does recommend this as a good quality gaming laptop based on the specs, so i purchased it.
