> 3 dayThe hardware was faulty to a point of making anygame unplayable, on top of massive overheating issues. Anygame on low hitches constantly which makes any form of gaming impossible to enjoy.

> 3 dayHi, this isn’t my amazon account It’s my mom’s. I know very little about computers and rams and graphics etc. but i really enjoy gaming and I wanted to get a laptop that I could play a large variety of games on while running them fairly smoothly with little lag etc. This laptop is wonderful, the 1 star reviews really scared me, but it really is a good laptop. The screen looks really clear and bright, the keyboard lights are all working and nice, BUT as many people said this laptop does get toasty, my CPU has been at 170° (Keep in mind i was playing GTA 5 which makes the laptop work a little harder) F which sounds bad and I got scared when I first saw that it was that high because i thought i was damaging something, but I looked into it and laptops like this are safe up to 221° roughly and if any damage is occurring do to overheating it will shut down on it’s own. I purchased a tree bee cooling pad as well because it was recommended (honestly think you could go without it) but it helps some if you’re really worried about the heat. Also this was my first time buying a laptop, and buying from amazon. I noticed that you have the option to pay $120 for a setup, DONT DO IT. I looked at what exactly they do, and it seems like such a waste of money, you just open your laptop, plug it in, turn it on, and start installing whatever you’d like on it. I also wasn’t aware that it comes with norton antivirus installed on it (1 month pre paid subscription) and after the month I’ll probably just use a free antivirus, because I’m not too worried about that. The battery, the battery isn’t amazing, but it’s also quite expected. This laptop is very powerful and I’d say you get an hour of battery during gaming, but having it plugged in while gaming isn’t really a big deal. All in all I was scared about this purchase, but it was a good idea and i highly recommend this laptop if it seems to be what you’re looking for.

> 3 dayI really love this laptop. The only reason why I’m giving it 3 starts if because how can you give someone a laptop where the graphics card doesn’t work? I know a friend who knows computer stuff so don’t try and send another laptop where it doesn’t work or send it back where you couldn’t fix.

11-06-2025For the money you cant beat this laptop for gaming. 16GB of ram, a nvidia 1060, 144hz screen... Its why I bought it even with the overheating warnings. I gave this a few good days of game time and found that all games on any settings would send the processors temperature up to the high 80s and at times the 90s. Now this is in a hotel room with the AC on and me shaking from the cold. I also bought a cooling pad and still this didnt do much, but Im sure it kept it from tipping over the red. The GPU wasnt overheating. So this issue is with the cooling on the CPU. So after much annoyance, I finally noticed that the CPU was boosting to full throttle 3.4ghz, anytime a game ran, no matter the game or load on the CPU. That made no sense to me, as this being a laptop, why would u max a CPUs heat production if the speed wasnt required? So I found a program that was able to turn off the CPUs Turbo feature. This was a night and day difference in heat being produced by the CPU and the fans were so quite after this. I tested the game I was playing which was now running better do to less heat in the CPU, and I tested Rise of the Tomb Raider, on highest, and it was smooth. I havent tried to replace the thermal paste on the CPU as some suggest, but I will, and see if the CPUs Turbo will work then. However, if my games remain smooth, why boost and create more heat?
