Its a great laptop for gaming when you can actually have it stay plugged in and have all of the internal fans working but other than that its not worth the price imo. Whenever its not plugged in to the charger expect to get 20-30 fps in all games cause it switches the gpus for whatever reason and the charger on mine randomly disconnects and reconnects at its own will. Another problem is the overheating it gets heated up a lot and slows down your gaming even more. I have never had problems with most of my other gaming laptops until I bought this one, so Id recommend looking into other non acer gaming laptops cause apparently these things arent that well designed.

This laptop did not live up to the specs it had inside. Overheated allot even with a cooling pad under. Constant bottle neck and lag in games even in fortnite.

I’ll start by saying I purchased this product on sale, I payed $1011 and for that price you can’t beat it! I mainly payed for the processing power as this has an i7 8750H, Six cores 12 threads! This laptop makes super easy work of writing papers, powerpoints and browsing the web! I’m sure it can do some great photo and video editing as well! I utilize the GPU when I’m between classes and ahead of my assignments, just launch a game and I’m set! Overall excellent laptop for the price I payed! Battery life isn’t good but that’s expected, I get about 3-4 hrs on battery with battery saver on at 50% brightness.

Ive been reading all these people complaining about overheating issues, theres an easy fix it takes a few minutes.

Laptop has already been sent back twice for repairs with 4 parts being replaced including both fans, motherboard, thermal paste and speakers. It gets the job done for playing fortnight on lower settings, but I wouldn’t push it with anything more detail then that. Not worth the price or the hassle of acer support.

I bought a gaming laptop that just wont play games... Every time I started a game the graphics card crashes, even after updating Windows and GeForce drivers it just wont work, I spent a hole day trying to fix it and Im really disappointed Im never buying acer again.
