Aftershokz Aeropex Mini (Rebranded as Shokz OpenRun Mini) Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

These are the most comfortable and most enjoyable way to listen to music, podcasts, or just talking on the phone and there are times that I forget I even have them on, I have tried many types of earbuds but they irritate my ears but these are exactly what I’ve been looking for for several years.

Sound like listening via a tin can and string. No charging block and the special magnetic charging cable is really short. $159.95 is a ridiculous price. The positive: noise cancelling is better than the LG headset I have been using.

Ive never found the perfect earphones. Over-ear cups make me sweaty and press my head. In-ear buds hurt my ear holes after a while. Plus, they make my voice sound weird inside my head when using them for a voice/video call. Well, the future is now!

Great all around headsets for open ear headphones!!

I am very happy with the aftershokz bone conduction system. The bluetooth connection works good with my iPhone and iPad. The controls (all I need) work very well and easily accessible.

The sound is more crisp then the less expensive version. I hope they last...

Id been pondering a pair of these for a while when my wife bought me a pair for my birthday. I ride my bike quite a bit and do frequent rides over an hour solo. Ive never felt comfortable doing that with headphones in due to the lack of situational awareness that occurs. Thats where bone conduction sounded great. Ive worn them on several rides and theyve worked perfectly. I can hear traffic and people near me. Wind noise only becomes challenging when descents top 30+ mph. They fit nicely and work around my helmet straps too. It is a little odd getting used to sound not coming directly through your ear canal but it becomes normal quickly. Sound quality is not as perfect as good on or in-ear headphones, but thats not the role these play.

The audio is good, but it barely fits on my head. Very uncomfortable. Theres only one size available for this headset, and if you have a large head youre out of luck. Since this is smaller than their other models, youd think they would have the common sense to make a larger version of this as well, but I guess not. So if you have a larger head youre either stuck with the lower end models, or youre better off going somewhere else.

I dont think its worth the price its at since I feel the audio quality could of been better for the price.
