> 3 dayLet me start off that I really like this PC. Came ready to plug and play. Set-up was a breeze and updates were starting as soon as I plugged it in. I opted for the 3080 with the R9 5900. Its fast. The Alienware software allows for good control of your components from Thermal to Over clocking. Good Price when on sale. 3/17/2022 Contacted support for a 2 Amber, one White blink. The PC Would not turn on. Waiting for a resolve. 3/22/2022 Resolved as the HDD was not activating after sleep mode. Changed the program to never let the HDD go inactive.

> 3 dayI’ve had this thing for a few months now. I was skeptical considering I’ve built my own PC’s for the last decade. But I recently moved states and took advantage of the 0 interest 12-month payment plan to make things easier. Currently have it hooked up to a 42” LG C2 4K 120hz G-Sync TV. So far this system has crushed everything I’ve thrown at it without issue. Frame rates are reasonably high for everything being maxed out with Ray Tracing on in 4k. Cyberpunk 2077 runs at an average of 68 FPS Red Dead Redemption 2 is around 75 on average. Resident Evil 4 Remake, maxed, is over 100 FPS. The thing performs solid and hasn’t given me much trouble beyond the Alienware software wanting to slow things down. My one and only gripe is that the liquid cooling system is a single fan. Running a Ryzen 9 5900 for hours with everything maxed puts the temps in the high 80’s C, as expected with this silly mistake. No reason not to run a dual fan to this kind of CPU to truly give the hardware longevity. But overall, for plug-and-play, this thing is crushing it pretty well. If I had the full $2400 lying around, I definitely still would have built my own computer though.

Greater than one weekI bought a intel i5 12300kf about a year and a half ago and after downloading the games that i wanted and could easily run them with the 3060 that was with it started bottlenecking and couldnt handle anything. it wouldnt even run the browser when i fired it up. This pc starts all my differnt gaming apps immediately all the while being able to start up any app right when it fires up. Ive never felt i needed to overclock it. If feels like night and day. You know you have a powerful computer when you restart it and it starts all your applications right as you get to youre home screen. AND i have a custom backround screen that is using the graphics.

> 3 dayStraight out of the box, it did not power on. Called Alienware/Dell customer service and they had me remove all components and retest after adding each component back to test it out. Still didnt power up so they are sending a technician out to work on it. The customer service tech assumes it is a bad motherboard. Update: Technician showed up next day, did no troubleshooting and just replaced the motherboard. The same issues occurred after he did so. He apparently had no knowledge of how to troubleshoot so he called Dell support himself. Finally they all gave up and decided it would be best to send the POS to the dell service center for repairs. They sent a box which was undersized for the alienware case. I miss the original Alienware company before the dell monster ate it.

> 3 dayAs im writing this review I’m in my 2nd machine. The first one I bought decided to update on its own and kept updating for over 10 hours. Finally I restarted the machine and all the lights started to blink and I had to troubleshoot just to get it to turn on again. Then for the next week every time I’d turn on the machine I would get a “no signal” on my monitor and a black screen. More manual restarting and mashing buttons to try and get the thing to work. I returned that machine and got a replacement, and this one does the exact same thing lol. It’s shocking how bad these Alienware’s are. I will be returning this machine as well and hopefully finding something more reliable.

> 3 dayLove this computer. Upgraded from a home built I put together over 5 years ago. Video from 1060GTX to a 3080RTX so...woohoo! Play Black Desert Online in remastered mode and it looks like a picture. Fan makes some noise as others have said, but I consider it minimal, its really not bad. Looks awesome, performs even better! Got a good deal on Prime Days, so Ive had it for around a month, (saved close to $600). Runs fine, temps midrange so liquid cooling doing its job. Again, its not all that loud. I use headphones for the game and I cant even hear it even though Im sitting right next to it. Would definitely recommend. (Ryzen 5900x, 32mb ddr4, 1tb ssd plus a 2tb hdd) I think this should last me awhile.

> 3 dayGot it and gamed on it all day and night. Then, after doing the Dell/Alienware updates it immediately started freezing. I read online that uninstalling & disabling all the Dell/Alienware utilities worked for others. That seems to have worked for me. The only other problem Ive had is crackly audio. I tried everything to. Nothing worked. Theres a headphone jack in the front panel of the PC. I switched to that one & that immediately fixed that crackling audio. So, this means I still have the crackling audio problem if I were to use the ports in the back. I even tried an external audio device.
