Totally worth the money. Have played a few games on it and they have been amazing. Computer runs like a dream. Highly recommended

Let me start off that I really like this PC. Came ready to plug and play. Set-up was a breeze and updates were starting as soon as I plugged it in. I opted for the 3080 with the R9 5900. Its fast. The Alienware software allows for good control of your components from Thermal to Over clocking. Good Price when on sale. 3/17/2022 Contacted support for a 2 Amber, one White blink. The PC Would not turn on. Waiting for a resolve. 3/22/2022 Resolved as the HDD was not activating after sleep mode. Changed the program to never let the HDD go inactive.

Not enough ram. It only has 16 gigs of ram. Not enough storage. It only has 512 Gts SSD. The only 1TB device is a spinner. The networking adaptor is garbage. It slows down, and drops connection, nearly three times a day. Frustrating when youre trying to use Flight Simulator 2020s photogrametry scenery, and next thing you know, it switches you to offline mode, and you lose all your weather data, and the scenery goes to crummy looking auto-gen that looks nothing like what you were flying over. Sick of it. I now have to look for a network adapter. The graphics card, which I got this machine for, is an Nvidia RTX 3070, which is pretty good. Only wish I ACTUALLY had access to all the ram. Dell have slouched, and slipped back to shared ram, which really holds you back. Youre better off building your own machine, IF you can find the parts.

I bought this during Prime Day 2022 (July) and the price/value is based on that. Pros: Good packaging, fast delivery, arrived on time and undamaged. The SSD isnt as big as Id like for my active steam library but the extra storage and even playing turn-based games off the spinning rust platters seems to work fine. Plays everything Ive thrown at it just fine, no heat or performance issues even on the most demanding games. Cons: The hard drive can be louder than Im used to with annoying noises during the write functions. Due to my desk setup the one side with the window into the box as shown in the picture ends up facing the window so a bit of a lost feature. Overall, I think its solid for a prebuilt, but if you do some research, you will note that this isnt the full X version of the MB/Processor that AMD sells if you were to build it yourself. However, I havent seen any performance issues. Side note - The amazon splitting of payments on items like this is rather nice. Unlike doing it through Dell/Alienware there is no credit check/hit on that and you can pay off early at any time with no interest or penalties.

One star currently for having a hardware issue one day after using it for about 2 hours. It was awesome when it worked. Waiting to see if dell will send the replacement parts. EDIT: After attempting to work with Dell over a repair, I ended up just buying a new SSD and installing it myself. Runs fantastic now but no excuse for lazy QC to let that slide from the factory.

Ive had issues with this machine in terms of performance ever since I got it. Not only was the memory severely underclocked by default, I constantly get performance lag when I alt+tab between a game and a window. What is worse is that it will randomly crash my computer. I will click into a game window and everything freezes then shows red, blue, and green pixels leading to a blue screen crash. After contacting Dell Support the last time, the issue has only gotten worse. Maybe I just got bad parts but I cannot recommend buying this PC.

The PC is good. Windows 11 Home is crap, and it should come with professional or workstation model. And, the PC keep making the click/switch noise after every few minutes even if youre not working.
