I’ve been waiting 25 years to get my hands on an Alienware system. This one does not disappoint. It’s system fans barely hum during normal games and speed up only slightly during a game set to Ultra graphics settings. For years, I’ve had to check game requirements to see if my computer could run the minimum specs(?). Now, that’s no longer a concern. I can run any game I want and at maximum settings.

Im not a Computer geek. It took a long time to finally decided on which direction I wanted to go, but after talking to friends and family, I decided to get a new PC for home use and Gaming. I had a team of helpers trying to build me a custom unit and shop for the latest and greatest. It was getting frustrating, but to make this long story short, This Alienware Aurora R14 Gaming Desktop was the best bang for the buck. We tried building the same unit and could not get close to the price it was selling for on Amazon, average savings was $500+ and it is already assembled, no waiting for parts to come in. So to sum it up. PRO Great performance and speed Already assembled Cheaper then building your own for now HUGE DIFFERANCE COMPAIRED TO XBOX ONE : ) CON Keyboard and Mouse included are cheap. Invest in Alienware keyboard and mouse. Also Invested in 240 hertz monitor. but I can see you lol Fan cooling system is very effective, but noticeable when she kicks into high gear, seems to attract a lot of Dust.. Wish the was an air filter. Makes me feel dirty, but to be fair I was told Im overreacting. lol So for now I give it 2 thumbs up..

I’ve had this thing for a few months now. I was skeptical considering I’ve built my own PC’s for the last decade. But I recently moved states and took advantage of the 0 interest 12-month payment plan to make things easier. Currently have it hooked up to a 42” LG C2 4K 120hz G-Sync TV. So far this system has crushed everything I’ve thrown at it without issue. Frame rates are reasonably high for everything being maxed out with Ray Tracing on in 4k. Cyberpunk 2077 runs at an average of 68 FPS Red Dead Redemption 2 is around 75 on average. Resident Evil 4 Remake, maxed, is over 100 FPS. The thing performs solid and hasn’t given me much trouble beyond the Alienware software wanting to slow things down. My one and only gripe is that the liquid cooling system is a single fan. Running a Ryzen 9 5900 for hours with everything maxed puts the temps in the high 80’s C, as expected with this silly mistake. No reason not to run a dual fan to this kind of CPU to truly give the hardware longevity. But overall, for plug-and-play, this thing is crushing it pretty well. If I had the full $2400 lying around, I definitely still would have built my own computer though.

Youre paying for the name. Its fine, but its not worth what theyre asking for it, and I got mine on sale. You can find the same quality for half the price

Looked used when I received it, box was beaten up and there looked like water stains on top. Should have sent it back but waited so Ling to get it I kept it. Windows crashes all the time, it wont start properly with my wireless USB port plugged in(freezes) games freeze some times and I have had it 3 weeks

If this has a monthly plan for you I say go for it. If its on a partial sale go for it. If you can spare the money go for it. I say this because I stream with this beast and play on it as well. Never had an issue not even when I got it. Runs great however. I will say this now. The fans suck. Theyre cheap and my tower gets really hot. Ive had to replace them with stronger fans to avoid overheating. But other then that Ive fallen in love with this pre-built. Genuine review. No paid actor. I use this thing alot. Sometimes for hours in a day and runs perfectly fine. Would of put a 5 star but those fans for this expensive of hardware is a tad slacking for my liking but other then that worth the money.

this has been an amazing PC since i got it, i had a little issue with Windows 11 but was able to fix that by jumping back down to windows 10. Overall, everything i throw at this thing has worked with no issues at all. I mainly play GTA RP, COD, Fortnite and right now i picked up sea of thieves. I play on high settings and get around 90-120 FPS. I do think the ram could be upgraded a little bit and would look into getting 32GBs right away.

*UPDATE* Dell customer support just told me this computer was already over 200 days old when I bought it nov 12. I wake up every single morning to this PC blue screened. The only things ive installed on it is discord, chrome and world of warcraft. Ive done all the windows updates. Ive updated drivers. Bios wont update. Tried to contact dell but it would hang up on me everytime I put in my PC number. Finally called and just said operator twice to talk to a human. A nice lady in India read me a script of trouble shooting tips that I could have googled so I hung up. Oh and the liquid cooling system has a tick tick, pause, tick tick, pause, tick tick, pause sound coming from it.. Dont buy alienware no matter what kind of deal you can get on it.
