I bought this in good faith since Ive had great luck with my Alienware laptop, but this desktop was a hunk of junk. Out of the box with no programs or games installed it was laggy and crashed a couple times giving blue screens. I reinstalled windows and then installed some games, games would go through huge lag spikes and crash, and every now and then It would get another blue screen. My laptop never had any of these troubles. The Desktop even blue screened when emptying the trash bin or when installing updates. I ended up installing windows 10 on it incase 11 was the problem and it still didnt help, I installed the updates directly from Dells site and it didnt help, I was on tech support for days and they didnt help. This was a complete waste of time. Maybe I just got a bad one, but you would think for how expensive these are they would do some kind of testing before selling them.

Getting into gaming on PC and wanted the best bang for the buck so I bought this computer! Very happy with this computer! Can’t even build one from Alienware for this price. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

I have had this PC for four days now and it sits here with the “Blue screen of death” on the screen. A very long sad story, but I will greatly condense. Day one - I followed on screen prompts including doing a system restore where I had to reload all programs. Day two - After about an hour on phone with Amazon tech support, which elevated all the way up to “Check to be sure the USB cables are plugged in”, I was actually connected to a Dell Alienware Aurora Tech who stated that they were well aware of my problem and he knew how to fix it. After several hours of remote access and upgrades, he went away and the Blue Screen came back. Day three - Dell service tech would not respond to my email asking for help. I called the extended warranty group, and after reading him the actual details of the warranty, he connected me to another tech. After several hours of remote access, he went away and the Blue Screen came back. Day four - I email both techs and get no response. I called warranty company and this time the contact person did not want to help me beyond telling me to send it back. After I read the warranty to him two or three times, he transferred me to a medical facility. I called Amazon and asked that a replacement be sent and I would verify it worked before returning the first PC. Delivery is one week. Nothing takes Amazon a week. Tonight I finally get a reply from Dell tech wanting to know what day and time would be good to work on the PC. I replied that I had asked Amazon for a replacement. The extended warranty may be a good thing, but all the help it says they will extend during installation is mostly words on a piece of paper. I will update this review when something happens. I have purchased several Dell computers, never having this much trouble. UPDATE: I received the replacement R14 per Amazon’s promise date. I loaded the same programs I had loaded on the faulty R14 and it has been running over the weekend as a new Dell should.

So backstory I have been looking at upgrading my PC for a while now. I have built a PC before but with the prices of components right now and wait times I decided to go with Alienware. Alienware was not my first choice but I have to say I am so glad I went with them over Cyberpower. The 18-month no interest payments on this machine make it all the more worth it. After ordering it arrived on a Friday. I got home took it out of the box and this thing was VERY well packaged. No damage to anything except the outside of the box having normal wear and tear from shipping. Straight out of the box I plugged it up and downloaded a few select games to test it. First game was Call of Duty Warzone. I have to say I was so impressed on how this PC ran this game. CPU stayed at around 68 C and GPU around 68-70 C on all maxxed out graphics. Everything was super smooth and just everything I wanted. If I had to complain about anything it would more than likely be Windows 11 only because it does have small stutters at time which is common from what I have read. The only issue I have encountered with the PC itself was on my brothers that he ordered (we ordered the exact same pc got it on the same day) and the front panel lights on the tower had went out and would not come back on. I contacted dell support and they did a remote connection. Within 10 minutes Gabriel Hernandez had the front panels back on and going. This ended up being a Bios update issue. The way he handled himself made me have a total different outlook on dell support. I have to say I do not regret my purchase and this experience has really given me a different outlook on Alienware itself. If you are on the fence on whether or not you want to risk buying a prebuilt my opinion is to do it!

    Greater than one week

This is my first PC date playing on consoles all of my life. My most recent console was the XBOX series X. This PC makes the series X look like an Atari. I mostly play COD Warzone and with this PC my k/d and gameplay has improved extremely. I’m winning fights I would have easily lost on the series X. Get it. You won’t regret it. It’s easy to set up and the command center makes over clocking a breeze.

I e been an Intel user for my entire PC life but couldn’t afford the bump from $3000 to $5000 for the Ryzan 9 box to be an Intel I9 box even with the higher end Nvidia RTx

This computer was alright at first but slowly started to just lose it investment as time and days gone on. One week the system just had the light stop working on the alian head button and then a second week and the ring around the system just stopped, now I am left with just the fan light so it lost is uniqueness in a few weeks lastly I suffered a blue screen on using discord or sharing screen(which for the money invested I should not see this so early) it frame dipped alot and froze on alot of moments in games like resident evil 5(old game and yet the frames dropped to 0 for 5 secs or freeze on moments like healing) phasmophobia on random moments(worst on ghost encounters) and finally on save cats in monster hunter storys 2 (specifically when it zooms in when you interact with it and it just freeze and drop to zero for 2 seconds or crash entirely) These just to name a few of the games I seen this problem occurred. Overall maybe my computer was just one of the bad eggs. Returning it but just be mindful when buying this. Its capable but strangely felt I got the bad end. Customer support helped but no solution in the end. they was nice and worked with me as far as we can together. Since it dident show signs of program errors that they could figure out. I am not tech savvy too much on the parts on the inside so I dident wanna mess with anything. Returning it and trying Again on a different product.
