> 24 hourI was going to buy a wifi extender since my new cable router is a smart cable router that my old smart home plug wouldn’t work. I wanted to connect my new lamps to Alexa. With this extension cord which made things more convenient not only was I able to comfortable set up my lamps, the connection to Alexa was seamless. Thanks, Amazon!

> 24 hourI like it when consumer tech crap like this just works. The best part is no promotional hype telling me how my life and marriage will get better with a smart outlet.

> 24 hourSuper cool. Easy to setup on Alexa and create custom names. Alexa - turn on/off patio lights, fence lights, Christmas tree, Santas Sleigh. You can also setup timers but havent done that yet. Yard lights usually only for party which can be early night or early morning.

> 24 hourWho would have imagined that Id be writing a review about a power strip but my experience with this new strip from Amazon Basics has me all excited. First and foremost, it simply does exactly what you would hope it would: provide control over three independent sockets remotely using Alexa. I plugged it in, skipped reading the instructions, and it showed up immediately on my Alexa app, as three separate plugs. I did the standard Alexa app configuration for smart home devices (really simple, really fast, basically just giving them names and assigning them to a room). Setup took less than five minutes and was simple and intuitive. The strip also includes two USB sockets which is also super-convenient. For example, a wireless charging pad can plug into one and a direct USB-Lightning connector in the other. The Amazon product team deserves a big pat on the back for creating a product that does exactly what you would want it to, and fast and easy. And the price is great, only slightly more than the single plug option. I highly recommend this product. It is exceptionally well designed.

> 24 hourI love this! It sets up super easily and is perfect for wherever you may need more than 1 plug in the same area!

> 24 hourI like this product, you plug it in and it automatically appears in the Alexa app. They appear as three separate plugs so if your intent is to power them all on and off together from Alexa you will need to group them once they’re individually set up.

> 24 hourHave 2 of these, they do work with Alexa but there are times it just doesnt seem to listen. For the most part though it does the job. USBs do not seem to do fast charging so thats a bit of a disappointment. Every now and then it will say its fast charging the device... But not always.
