AMD Ryzen 5 1600 65W AM4 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler (YD1600BBAFBOX)

Adding my overclocking results to the rest. Hardware specs below. Set a mild OC to 3.9 on all cores @ 1.25v in BIOS. Prime95 max temp at 69C (CoreTemp 1.15.1).

This CPU has become almost legendary for its price v performance. $85 for a 6 core with multithreading, based on AMDs latest 12nm tech? Ill take ten, please! UPDATE: This has become my favorite CPU ever, and I purchased my first processor in 1997! Running it on an ASUS B450 board, 16GB DDR4 3200 and a GeForce GTX 1650 Super video card. Can run pretty much everything at ultra settings with TAA at 1080p resolution. It was $85 when I got it, and my GTX 1650 Super was $160 before video card prices went through the roof. What a bargain!

Used it with a B450 Asus prime, runs tasks smoothly and usage with several apps open doesnt even go over 35%. Driver updates were a breeze.

Using this processor, I was able to fully resolve the fate of every particle in the known universe in under an hour. Best deal in the history of ever. 1600GHz gang!

Best cpu for the price tag, hands down. Great start to any type of budget/performance pc.

Quality product and easy installation

I bought this a year or so ago when it was 85$. I am completely satisfied with this cpu at that price. Its prob worth whatever the current price is nowadays as well. Pair it with a cheap b450 pro2max and 16gb ram. Boom, youre in the mix!

For 85$, you are getting a whole lotta bang for your buck. This AF model is very popular among gamers, as it is considered a Ryzen 2600 disguised under the 1600 moniker. The AE model (more expensive) is not as sought after. Google-foo for a few, and youll be back to buy.
