Second time building with AMD. Having a six core CPU is something I thought I wouldnt have. Always figured they would be out of my price range. I picked this up for under $100. My last gaming rig was an Intel core i5-2500k and when I was gaming it was going to 100%. Now this CPU goes about 30% I havent overclocked it. Dont really want to as it does what I want it too as of right now.

The 1600 AF is ideal for home office use. Even at $115 I am totally happy. Unlike the awful cooler the 3600 ships with, the 1600 AF comes with a cool & quiet cooler. For home use the 1600 idles at 30c and gets to 45ish when working. Its faster than anything needed for windows 10 office. Cool, quiet, fast, 12 cores: perfect.

Got this for my pc build ever. Great cpu for a midrange budget gaming pc. Definitely recommend for beginners.

I was able to oc the cpu to 4.2 ghz at 1.4v, but turned it down to 4.0 at 1.29 for normal usage. I love the performance it provides at $85 price point. This will get me through another two years easily.
