Amazing performance

If you are new to PC building, and if you are unfamiliar with AMD CPUs, you might have harder time than Intel. People tend to bend the pins on AMD CPU far easily than bending Intel Motherboard pins, but thats just based on my experiences watching people build and mess up. But dont worry, PC building is pretty much piece of cake as long as you follow the steps correctly and are observant while building.

Amazing power to value ratio. Great upgrade to my workstation.

Gets all of the gaming and multitasking done that I do, music, games, twitch, apps running in the back ground...

Bout this for to get going but will be upgrading to a 3950x shortly works great for gaming but for anything else its just average

This has been a fantastic CPU up until we upgraded to a 3080 and played some newer CPU dependant games. However most games, even new ones still run well on this processor. I gave it to my teen and upgraded mine and they have no issues playing any games at top frames, where I found that playing Escape from Tarkov was limited by it but only in conjunction with top-end GPUs.

Am a little disappointed that the image one the box for the fan is a rgb wraith spire and not the one that is actually in the box, A little miss leading, but the CPU has been good so far.

I didn’t notice that the item had a layer of thermal paste already put on. I was looking everywhere for a tube and was quite irritated that it wasn’t anywhere to find. Very good idea, although would have been nice if they listed it in the item description as “Thermal Page Already applied and Ready To Go!”. It never dawned on me that it would be even possible to have it pre-installed.

Built a new gaming tower with this processor and a GTX1080 and have been very very pleased with the results. I have not found much that pushes this processor into the red and for the price, well worth it.
