Hands down best CPU for the price. I did get it with a black Friday deal so it was cheaper the MRSP. However works great all around from gaming to video editing. Love the 6corse def. The upgrade I needed!

WOW, AMD have really closed the gap on Intel. This CPU rarely goes above 20% usage when running AAA games on 1080p @ 60Hz, 60fps capped ASUS Strix RX580 O8GB and handles Twitch simultaneously broadcasting at 1080p@60fps with 0 dropped frames! Do it. I was gonna get the R7 2700X but havent even maxed this one out yet, so Im glad I saved the money. I will definitely buy these for future systems.

Overall great! Handles all my games well and have had little to no issues. It can run hot with the stock fan though, the highest temp I have got is 59 C. Overall, great CPU for the money, but you will need to upgrade the cooler.

Seriously, spend the extra 20-30 USD for the X, with a higher base clock speed and OC capabilities. You cannot go wrong with this CPU. Its a beast, when paired with a mid-high range GPU, will give 60fps plus on close to all AAA title games. The boot time for my PC, paired with my SSD is really fast as well!

Love this CPU. Wasnt looking for the fastest, and prob better to spend more if you do lots of multi threading. But for 6c/12t processor this thing is a steal at its price point. Ran a little hot in games, dont know if the fan or the pre applied past was to blame, but got x62 kraken cooler. Runs way cooler and cores boost higher too. Voltage set at 1.35 and all coores sit steady at 4.25gzh with gaming temps under 60°c. Highly recommended. If you decide to replace the cooler, prob best to go for the 2600 tho.

Great Amd Cpu, I used this in my cousins Birthday build and it ran very well.
