> 24 hourThis isnt the most blazing proc out there, by far... but for non-gamers looking for a snappy workstation, this proc delivers at a great price. My rig is yet to breathe hard on anything Ive done with it...

> 24 houri have had this running overclocked with a 40.5 multiplier with the stock air cooler for a year now, and it still performs great. i did remove the thermal pad and use mx-4 thermal paste. my usage is gaming. any performance lost during image/video editing is caused by my hard drive. cinebench r20 max temp was 75c. if i ever need a new one, or wish to upgrade, i will most definitely stick with ryzen.

> 24 hourThis is a great CPU, I wasnt able to overclock it at all but that is more or less known about this CPU, honestly theres no need to, set it up with a rx590 GPU and I havent had any bottlenecking. Pushing above 100fps on lower graphic settings with AAA titles. Great CPU for a budget build.

> 24 hourI havent built a new PC in about 8 years and decided to build a new mid-range gaming PC. I had always used the all-in-one PSUs with all the cables attached and this caused a headache with cable routing. The modular features to only install what I want is a huge boon.

> 24 hoursmokin fast cpu the problem is finding a motherboard that will do it justice , why o why AMD do you not make Your own motherboards ?

> 24 hourFor the money you cant beat it. Compares well to the 9400f of you want to fork out the money for the motherboard and never upgrade. Or just get this and be satisfied with a good midrange cpu, a true upgrade path and have the ability to use your computer as a workstation.

> 24 hourThe AMD Ryzen 5-2600X processor is very reasonably priced for everything that you get. It has 6 physical cores with hyper-threading for a total of 12 processing threads. The burst clock ups the processor speed to 4.2 Ghz but the chip that I received didnt actually attain that speed. I was seeing speeds of 4.1+ Ghz so I was quite satisfied. I like the fact that the chip still has pins that have to be plugged into the socket. To me it is much easier to install the Intel chips. When I load tested the chip all 12 threads reflected a 100% processor load and the core temps topped out at 81C and no throttling occurred. Lightning destroyed the processor and motherboard on my daughters machine so I was looking for a relatively inexpensive processor and motherboard to get the machine back up and running. This processor was exactly what I was looking for. It was very easy to install and it works very well. I would certainly consider this chip again. Unlike Intel this processor comes with the Spire heatsink and fan which does an excellent job for a stock fan. Since I am not interested in Overclocking the chip the stock heatsink is fine for my needs. If you are looking for a mid-range processor in the upper 3.6 Ghz to the lower 4.2 Ghz range then this processor fits the bill perfectly. I enjoyed the experience of building this system.
