This was to make my first AMD build. The chip installed easily, runs fast, and the stock cooler works without issue. Paired this with:

The processor is great, but the cooler is garbage. The cooler has such a horrible design. The screws have such resistful springs that it makes it hard to screw down the cooler into the motherboard plate. I spent approximately an hour and a half trying to get all 4 screws tightened. Tighten 2 screws and go for a third the first screw you tightened will come undone. I more than likely need a new back plate for my motherboard since the first plate has probably been ruined. I was fed up with it and decided to only screw on the bottom left and top right screw, bad idea, quickly the cpu reached 110c. I wish I could get my money back.

Really nice cpu for the price. Handles photo editing and video editing applications like a beast. And does very well gaming. A steal of a deal.
