AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Replaced a Ryzen1700 with this 3800X on a B350 chipset. Runs a steady 4.3ghz in task manager. Ill need to upgrade my water cooler though, with a 125 tdp Im going to need a 120mm x 240mm cooler now. Currently running a 120mm x 120mm cooler and radiator fan runs a lot. Im still happy!

Very fast CPU. Use it for work and play. I did order a Noctua nh-d15 (black) cooler/fan for it. The Wraith prism (factory fan) was a tad bit too loud.

Bought this for a build for my mother to replace her 20 yr old machine. It has been way more than she needed and has been a great deal

If you are not ready to shell out the bucks for the 3900x or 3950x, I strongly recommend the more modestly priced 3800. The performance is great!

Upgraded from a 1600x to the 3800x .. very nice cpu .. came with cooler too! :) Although I used an AIO water cooler

I mean its a 8 core 16 thread CPU, if youre a normal consumer mostly using the pc for gaming, this thing will last you the next 10 years thanks to consoles limited what people can do with games. being honest you can probably get about as good results with the 3700x if youre just gaming youd only lose a couple of frames.
