AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Bought the 3800x over the 3700x cos the price was the same at the time of order. Reading indepth reviews online suggest that this is only ever slightly faster than the 3700x. So far its working well paired with an MSI B550 motherboard.

This is (currently) a beast of a processsor from AMD, and if you can find software that takes advantage of all 8 cores, itll fly along. On a per-core basis its pretty fast, blowing my old replacement out of the water in terms of instructions per cycle, and Ive noticed a distinct improvement in frame-rates during gaming, just from moving the bottleneck from CPU to GPU, which will be the next upgrade. The stock cooler that comes with it is capable of RGB tricks which is nice, although in a HTPC setup its irrelevant, but its reasonably quiet until you start hammering it, at which point it ramps up to a fairly low-key hum that wont blow your wig off. In fact, with the lid on and it pushed back into the cabinet you can barely hear it when it gets hot under the collar.

Acquistato 3800x per soli 20 euro in piu rispetto al 3700x. Abbinato con una 2070 super tutti i giochi vanno fluidi e con alti FPS. Le frequenze del processore, senza toccare il bios e abbinato alla scheda madre x570 tuf wifi, sono sempre 4.2 ghz+ arrivando tranquillamente anche ai 4.5 ghz pubblicizzati sotto sforzo.

Insane speeds way better than my i7 just make sure your motherboard is able to support it.

Je viens dun i7 3820 de 2012 légèrement OC, toujours fonctionnel. Je ne fais pas dapplicatif, surtout du jeux. Alors, soyons clair : ça ne change rien (testé avec ma GTX 1070). Le proc est moins sollicité, mais il ny a aucun gain. La faute à la fréquence peut être. Bon le passage à la RTX 2080 SUPER, rien à voir par contre : ça se sent en 1440p.

Meglio del ryzen 3700x in termini di potenza di calcolo e multitasking.
