I built a fast desktop mainly to be used for a workstation & 3d printer controller. This processor is crazy fast! Im getting over 5k Cinebench scores and overclocking with AMDs easy clock tool only heated the CPU to about 70 °C. Amazing CPU, you wont regret it.

If you only care bout gaming, then this CPU is not a good value for you. Intel has better gaming performance cheaper, and even AMDs new lower spec chips will outperform it at a lower price.

I think Core i5 10th gen is the best CPU by cost performance. But this is an i7 vs Ryzen 7 game so... I have to say Ryzen comes with a nice looking RGB fan which with Intel unlocked CPUs you dont get so relatively speaking better cost performance.

Bought in black Friday to upgrade 2600x on tomahawk b450. Fan that comes with is led amd fan and is a little fiddly to install but otherwise very good.

I like the fact that it was a decent upgrade from my older CPU which was an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X at 3.6Ghz base clock each core in other words it sure is a whole lot faster between the two CPUs as well and Id say that it was worth it to me at least.. I mainly use it for gaming but can create greeting cards on my computer as well as word processing as well..
