I was using the Ryzen 5 2600X before, and for the life of me, I couldnt get my ram to run at its 3600 speeds, with constant green screens. I received my new cpu on Saturday, and decided to try putting my ram at 3600 speed to see if it works, and not a single blue screen yet!! Im also getting way better bench marks on Cinebench20 and everything seems to be running butter smooth!! I popped it into my Aorus X470 gaming 7 motherboard and zero issues!! As I dont have any use for PCI-4 atm. I was also able to gift my old cpu to a friend and give him a huge boost over what he had

Für mich zur Ersten Generation ein Quantensprung.Im direkten Vergleich zum Ersten 7 1700 liegen Welten.Ich bin mit dem Ryzen 7 3800X zufrieden auch wenn sein kleinerer Bruder etwas schneller ist.Für meine Ansprüche mehr als ausreichend und es ist immer noch Luft nach oben.

Took the chance and installed this onto an gigabyte gaming k7 x370. I have not ocd the processor, and Ive had zero problems. I use 16gb of flarex ddr4, and the xmp runs it at 3200 no problem. Is it more worth it than a 3700x? Eh, thats your call, honestly.

The CPU memory controller failed within 2.5 years. I will never buy an AMD CPU again and am going back to Intel for life. To further add details, the PC would not POST and kept throwing a 07 code. At first I thought it was bad RAM or a bad memory slot on the motherboard itself, but it turns out the memory control module on the CPU failed (which interacts with the RAM). Effectively this means the CPU died! I even tested in another system. Same problem. So its not the motherboard or other components, but the CPU failed.

When I purchased this processor it was only $20 more than the 3700. For $20 it was a no brainer to go for the better processor.
