Happy so fair, BUT it was not stable at the shown over clock OC, I locked it to 4.25 and that’s a bit disappointing I’m not sure if that has anything to do with the cooling but if it does I’ll update this. Other then that it does everything I’ve wanted and no need for a stream pc anymore. Very happy.

Mi sono finalmente convinto di passare da un vecchio PC assemblato nel 2014 alla nuova generazione di processori acquistando questo processore e una buona scheda madre compatibile (trovate la recensione della scheda nel mio profilo se interessati).

Le ryzen 7 3800x un bon CPU parfait pour mon utilisation bureautique et gaming. Rien à dire il travaille bien. Un bon rapport qualité-prix. Le seul truc cest installation du ventirad AMD je nai jamais compris pourquoi il faisait un système avec un levier au lieu de mettre simplement une fixation avec vis comme le fait Intel. Mais mise à part cela je nai rien à dire et le prix du CPU il est correct.

Upgrade von 1700x auf MSI X370 Titanium, konnte nie die volle Geschwindigkeit des G-Skill Flare X von 3200mhz erzielen.

Managed to grab a 6900XT for retail but my Ryzen 1700 was holding it back causing stutters, got this and PC runs fantastic and also ready for Windows 11 as the 1700 was not supported, installed on an MSI Gaming Pro B350 after Bios update.

Useful that the cooler doesnt actually come with the mounting required to install it. Need to buy that separately. Otherwise the CPU itself works excellently.

This processor is right up there amongst the best on the market for gaming pcs. Its lightning quick and can handle pretty much anything I throw at it. I have coupled it with an RTX 2080S and 16GB of RAM and I am able to blitz through some of the most intensive games (such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and AC Odyssey) on maximum setting with no issues what so ever.
