AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

This CPU is amazing! It runs 100+ FPS at 1440p with ease and can be tamed with just a 240mm aio. However, do not buy it at more than retail ($450), or else its not good value for the money. Also, I don’t know if this is something to do with Amazon, but my package arrived in just a thin package with only a layer of bubble wrap! (The cpu was luckily undamaged).

Runs a bit hot. I have a 240 water cooler on it and am getting thermal throttles when it hits 90C.

Best CPU Ive owned so far. Exceptional performance coupled with a 1 TB Samsung SSD Pro and 32 GB RAM. Couldnt be happier.

Great value for performance noticeably improvement from the R5 3600 which was given and put into my wife’s rig. So complete upgrade for me paired with the RTX 3060.
