> 3 dayit was a hard choice, i loved the speed and efficiency of the 5800x but it was hard to keep it cool so I returned it.

Greater than one weekRuns too hot to function. I unfortunately do not have a liquid cooler and tried to use the stock cooler from my 3600x. Every game I try to play crashes. Ive tried undervolting it, running it in eco mode (which takes it down to 65w), using curve optimizer, and nothing works. I cannot play anything at all. It often cant even make it to an actual game and crashes in the menu. This is absolutely pathetic I and I now see why this is the only of the new gen 4 ryzen cpus that are reliably in stock - they dont work. Im seeing people with max sized radiators on their double pump cooling systems and it still reaches 90 degrees celsius. Completely dysfunctional product - do not buy.

Greater than one weekThis is a great buy for any modern game because the balance of multithreading in games and how well this runs. At stock I was able to cool it with a simple air cooler no problem. But if you do liquid cooling or a big heat sink you can overclock easily.

> 3 dayUna vera bomba di CPU, assolutamente consigliato un dissipatore a liquindo altrimenti le temperature potrebbero facilmente arrivare anche sui 100°.

> 3 dayBeware, CPU runs hot. According to AMD this is normal and we just need to rethink our view on temperature.

> 3 dayAfter buying this CPU and putting it in my PC, I usually idle at around 2% utilization according to task manager. Ive almost never seen it go above 25% util, and I can watch it constantly thanks to my 3-monitor setup. Single-core performance is insane, clocks are great out-of-the-box, and overall this thing is just an absolute beast. No regrets with getting it.
