I am a gamer running 1080p for both personal as well as content creating. The computer I use is also a workstation for both my job and hobby and I have had zero issue. I will be upgrading my cooler as I am using a stock amd stealth air cooler and it keeps it from throttling but still runs hotter then I would like to see. So I will change my review if warranted after I buy and get an AIO installed.

Having tested both a 5600x and a 5800x on my rig, I can successfully say that a 5900x is the best one you can get. But if you cant find or afford one, then here you are.

One of the strongest single core CPUs to date and you get 8 of them making this an absolute beast and honestly overkill for the majority of games today. If you render a lot of videos then this is just the ticket too so no worries there, infact I may as well just say that unless you surf the internet and nothing else then you probably already know about this beast of a CPU such is its legendary performance.

The evolution of AMD has been amazing. I have used their cpus from way back when they were called NexGen. After years of engineering, this cpu is a landmark design. Overall performance for the dollar/power is the top of desktop personal computing.

My 3900x was better in a few benchmarks and I cant see any performance increase in real life so either go 5900x or 5600x......5800x seems to be basically the good 5600x chips at an inflated price
