AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Upgraded my 3700x. Hugely noticeable increase in performance. Benchmark tests put it about 98.8% faster than my 3700x at stock clocks. 101% faster at Ryzen AutoOC clock.

Acheté pour remplacer un 5800x défaillant. Je suis surpris de voir que le 5900x chauffe moins.

Idk how to write a review on a cpu but here yah go. Computer gaming is 1000 times faster with this thing. I ordered it at 10pm and somehow an Amazon delivery driver deliver it at 3am to my doorstep

Obviously this has more cores and hits higher benchmarks than most other CPUs on the market and price/performance right now is pretty much at the top of the high end CPUs. However even beyond the raw data, in my PC this CPU will run at 30-40% (and a cool ~45 degrees with a wraith max cooler) utilization running the same intense gaming/VMs/Work that would put my Ryzen 5 3600 at 100%. Absolutely astounding and the biggest engineering/performance leap in AMD CPUs since FX to Ryzen.

The only reason I didnt give it five star stability is because previously with my Ryzen 5 3600 I could get my memory to 3800 no issues with this I literally cant get my memory above its rated 3600 speed. I mean I tried everything in the bios I tried manually setting the Fclock and voltage and everything wont post with anything above the rated ram speed. So I think I got a pretty bad silicon lottery other that that this chip is absolutely incredible games so well and pairs really well with the 3070 Ti

Per giocare gran parte dei giochi, anche di ultima generazione, le versioni precedenti come il 5700 sono più che sufficienti con un adeguata scheda video, ma i 12 core vengono molto utili per velocizzare operazioni di rendering, encoding e multitasking.

This is super fast, paired with a 3080 gpu and 16×2 gskill 3600 cl14 ram, Asus x570 gaming plus, samsung 980 pro ssd 1 tb, it takes 11 seconds from the time I hit the power button, till I can open my web browser....you wont be disappointed. I use it for gaming, which is overkill, but Im so glad I got it
