> 24 hourThough it wasnt planned that way (or was it!? kidding!) the timing of this release could not have been better. We got our game 2 weeks into our stay-home plan and have enjoyed building the island up every day. It is a great little escape for anyone in our house who just wants to relax and chill out for a bit. An easy way to build a perfect in-control little pretend life while the world is so chaotic. Have always loved AC games, and this one is no exception!

> 24 hourThis is a one person game. Do not make the mistake like I did and think that it will be ok and your kids can share the island. They cannot. It will lead to fights and arguments. I bought this for my 15 year old daughter to play and she was perfectly happy for a couple of weeks until her older sister decided she wanted to play as well. Although they can both live on the island, one person is always really in control of what is built and goes on. Might be ok if your kids are little and don’t know any better.

Heads I win, Tails you lose
> 24 hourOrdered the game for my mom. Tracking and shipping promised a time and the game came super late. It’s a present that I now have to give late due to shipping losing it! The game itself is cute and adorable. Played it for over a year myself. This copy is for my mom, but who knows if she will even get it…

> 24 hourAnimal Crossing mostly speaks for itself. But this game is incredibly relaxing and fun. If you want to be able to chill, relax, and enjoy a calm experience, this is the game for you. Its soothing, and theres always something to do. With a Nintendo Online account, you can also play together with friends.

> 24 hourTo me this is the best switch game. It works great handheld or on the big screen. It has so much repayability its insane. BOTW has the better story and better graphics, but this game will suck you in.

> 24 hourAs a lifelong Animal Crossing fan (Animal Crossing for the GameCube released when I was about 9), this is already my favorite installment since the original. Nintendo has managed to keep so much of the original nostalgia while adding in lots of new features. I love the addition of the crafting aspect that can add a bit of problem-solving to an otherwise straightforward life simulator. As always, its absolutely adorable and I cannot stop playing and improving my island. Awesome job, Nintendo!

> 24 hourBest version of animal crossing to date. The crafting is fun. I really liked the progression aspect of the game compared to older entries. Nook Miles system makes it easy to feel like you accomplished something and gives you a reason to do things you normally wouldnt mess with or know you should mess with. Play it with friends and family, just be prepared to buy them their own copies if you have multiple Nintendo Switches in your house.

> 24 hourAbsolutely amazing. A huge improvement on prior animal crossing games— and they still update it for free! I’m never short on content. My mom saw me playing it and she wanted one, too. Made for an easy Christmas gift :)

> 24 hourThis is definitely a game for those who like to spend lots of time designing and moving things around a virtual map or enjoy collecting items and repeating tasks daily. *spoilers alert- please proceed with caution* It was fun running into the otter Pascal who is always looking for scallops, in exchange he will give you mermaid themed items or pearls. This was my favorite mini game but once you collect all the items, now what? Buying new clothes is fun and the activities like digging up fossils, fishing, and catching bugs seem like a chore after a while. At certain hours or days, you may run into special guests and collect limited items but their appearance is random. This game kept me entertained for a month.
