> 3 dayI want to be very clear: I absolutely adore this game. It is beautifully done. Its peaceful, meditative and engaging. It is everything I love about this kind of game. It rewards adventure and whimsy, and I am loving working to slowly develop my island and invite new faces to it. I havent felt so invested in a game like this, so fulfilled, since Stardew Valley. But heres the thing. Im Player One of Three in my household. And for Player Two and Three, it is still enjoyable but a far less fulfilling experience. Having everyone on the same system share one island is not the end of the world. We personally like that. We would have liked the option to have our own private islands to sculpt, but whatever. What we dont like is that the experience P1 gets is not the same experience P2 and P3 get. I get to build relationships with villagers, I get quests to unlock buildings, I get to move the story forward--and they just kinda hang out and have to wait for me to do it. They dont get to actually participate in the story for the most part, and feel like bystanders in their own save of the game. Even their interactions with the villagers so far dont seem to matter as much. That just feels bad. I was so excited when I realized they would want to play this with me, and felt so sorry when I realized they would only get a fraction of the experience I was getting. Over the past couple of days, we keep stumbling over things they are ultimately missing out on or dont have access to as additional players, and I keep feeling the need to apologize. Not to mention, if any of us play to our hearts desire on any given day, the other two hop on later to find there is little for us to do, no resources left to collect. There are three of us. I have no idea how this island and its resources is supposed to support up to eight players. I hope the developers of this game seriously weigh the feedback theyre getting on this and patch in something that at least attempts a compromise. Please give P2 + a unique storyline experience of their own that actually matters--something not tied to P1 progress. The Direct for this game asks, What kind of life do -you- want to live? This households answer: the kind Player One gets to have.

> 3 dayPre-ordered this game and it arrived the same day of the release day and it’s been 4 months since I’ve had animal crossing new horizons and I love it. I recommend this game because it’s so relaxing so therapeutic and adorable, you get to use your imagination and be as creative as you want with your island. This game doesn’t make you feel stressed you go at your own pace and the updates have been making the game even better and there’s still even more updates to come. This is a perfect gift for Nintendo fans and for the old animal crossing fans who have been here since the beginning of this franchise. If you plan on buying this game as a birthday gift or Christmas gift go for it, I’m sure your kids, friends, or anyone from your family that’s a Nintendo fan will be so happy.

> 3 dayI have been saving up for this game for a while since the craze peaked back in March. I can assure that it is really fun, and a new take on the Animal Crossing series. I really enjoy how you can only do so many things in one day, cause then I cant become too addicted to the game.

> 3 daySuch a fun and addicting game. However, if youd like to play with others you will have to purchase the online package from Nintendo. Its not a whole lot of money but its something I didnt know before purchasing. Also, if you are purchasing this to play couch co-op, just know its not equal for both players. You have severely limited options if you are not player 1. Also, you cant create multiple islands per switch so if you have 2 kids you plan on sharing this game, it may get complicated. HOWEVER. I have had a lot of fun playing and it has been a great time-killer while we are stuck at home.

> 3 dayMy daughter is 100%, over the moon, stars in her eyes in love with this game. Anytime shes gotten free time to play with her new Switch Lite, this is her go-to game. Its cute, wholesome, and I like that Im not having to constantly watch over her shoulder to make sure nothing wildly inappropriate is about to jump out of the woodwork. Im a Nintendo fan in general because my personal preference is games that look and feel like games, not warzones, and Animal Crossing definitely doesnt disappoint there.

06-06-2025I’m 27. I’ve barely played video games, and I’ve never had my own. I was excited to make this my very first one. The controls are easy to learn and every detail in the game is so lovely. The only real goal is to make a world that you like. It barely even feels like a game to me. There is something new to look forward to every single day. It literally gives me a reason to get out of bed during this quarantine monotony. With the sheer amount of content in ACNH, every player is bound to have a totally unique experience. I just love it so much and will undoubtedly be playing for years to come. Everyone in my family has a copy!
