> 24 hourIt fits well, the only problem I have with it is very top heavy with it extended more than half way. Dont believe that is the best antenna for portable scanner.

> 24 hourVery happy with this. I bought it to replace the stock antenna of the Sportys Air Scan radio. Instantly noticed an improvement! Able to pickup more stations and have clearer reception on existing ones.

> 24 hourI have a Uniden BC125AT handheld scanner that came with the standard rubber ducky antenna. I was fairly disappointed with the reception, wasnt picking up much at all. I decided to try an aftermarket antenna and went with this one. Im very pleasantly surprised by the dramatic difference this thing made. Im now picking up channels from 30 miles away! When collapsed, this is only slightly longer than the standard antenna. When fully extended, its a whopping 4ft long, which makes the scanner top heavy but will stand up on a flat surface with no problem.
