> 3 dayThis Antenna is vary good for the price you pay. To get the best signal, you will have to play with the sections for each band you want to listen to. Note for some smaller scaners, it may tip over the scaner if not handled properly, depending on howmany sections are expanded. Overall, it is good for the price you pay. Of course it is not the best in the world, but I gave it 5 stars because it works for my needs.

Doing It Smartly
Greater than one weekThis pulls in some distance signals that are being broadcast via repeaters for the fire departments in my area. The antenna is rather tall and can be heavy as for as using with a hand held unit so you have to be careful when using. Other than that it seems to allow the pulling of more stations, but I wouldnt use it as a traveling antenna.

> 3 dayThis product has good reception on my local fire department frequencies, which I used this antenna to scan for on my hand held radio scanner. The extended frequency range that this antenna can pick up is a nice bonus, especially if someone is using it on the 1300 band.

> 3 dayWorks much better than the original antenna that came with my bearcat. The extendable design makes the signal stronger when inside buildings.

> 3 dayI bought this antenna for my uniden handheld scanner. It works, it fits, but it’s not snug. It doesn’t negatively affect the operation of the scanner so I will keep it.
