Works great

I purchased this to try on a CB radio, but this antenna is not TX (transmit) capable. I afterward ordered a bearcat digital trunk scanner and this antenna is working great with it.

Antenna is approx. 1.3m long, that is a height of a child and it is mounted using BNC connector so I always take care I sway the radio in a careful manner even if not fully extended. Product is worth the money. This antenna is a passive component so there is nothing that should degrade over time. Tightness of its sections are constant when extending/contracting. Even after some maybe not so careful movements no physical defects or any permanent changes have been observed like bends or any other types of deformations or changes in quality.

Very happy with this. I bought it to replace the stock antenna of the Sportys Air Scan radio. Instantly noticed an improvement! Able to pickup more stations and have clearer reception on existing ones.

Great great antenna

I wish that I had realized much sooner that buying this antenna for our scanner would make this much difference. We live in a rural area and the reception for anything is poor. This antenna makes a huge difference!

A big upgrade from the stock junky antenna included with my scanner. Arrived clean, not bent, new condition. This thing extends out a HUGE amount. I can pick stuff up from farther away. Definitely no going back to the stock antenna

Careful not to bend, works as intended

This product has good reception on my local fire department frequencies, which I used this antenna to scan for on my hand held radio scanner. The extended frequency range that this antenna can pick up is a nice bonus, especially if someone is using it on the 1300 band.
