Very happy with this. I bought it to replace the stock antenna of the Sportys Air Scan radio. Instantly noticed an improvement! Able to pickup more stations and have clearer reception on existing ones.

I have another version of this antenna. This antenna is 50 long (or less, adjustable). That means you can adjust the length to be an end-fed 1/2-wave antenna on 144 MHz and above. 10W power limit on transmit. Do the math.

Great range compared to other rubber antennas. Long when fully extended.

Retaining clips within the telescopic parts arrived loose and shaking around inside, causing the antenna to not remain extended. BNC connector loose as well, causing it to bobble on any radio.

Seems to give a little more distance and clarity on my police scanner than the stock ant it came with. good value for the money

I have 2 BC125AT and one is using a Diamond RH77CA, and the other one is using this TW-999. By far the TW-999 has way better receiving than the RH77CA in the 400-500Mhz range. Works very well for Airband as well with the antenna fully extended. Only downside is fully extended it is not very portable and very heavy.
