Theyre great I have 3 for my evacuation set up . Ive talked 4 other hvac colleagues into buying these instead of their current ones. Only ones almost as good are the yellow jacket but what makes these better is the ball valve shut off. Rarely gets in the way and it can move around without leaking.

Took my time to evacuate to under 500 microns down from hours to 20 minutes.

No problem so far. I remove the valve core first then add the tool just to pull vacuum. Works great.

What a nice piece of equipment, solid and well made. Pulled a 275 micron vacuum on the first job and no problems. Simple and well thought out.

Used it twice and on the third time the actual schrader removal tool while it’s under pressure kept getting stuck when trying to push it in and it wouldn’t allow the schrader to come out even tho I could feel it unscrewing. Im buying yellow jacket

(Update) I ordered a replacement. I found that I had to push very hard to latch the core and then it would pull out along with the retrieving tool. So it does work. The ball valve still have a very rough spot. So I am thinking thats their design, but still worry because it will have premature wear at that spot. With a very hard push to latch, rough ball valve spot and low pressure rating (what if I found leak and use pressure test I would need to take it out first) , its not good for a high price item. ---------------------------- Previous review: defeat the purpose of this tool, or most of it. I could unlock the valve core, but I could not pull it out. I even un-turn the farthest nut to let some pressure out to push the valve out, but it doesnt come out. Also, when I turn the ball valve, near the end, there is a very rough spot and I have to push harder to over come it. I was worry the valve core was there and I was crushing the core, but thats not it. However, this does leave a chance that the valve core is laying there, and I thought its just the normal rough spot. I will have to return or exchange this, since this is not acceptable. I am doing the evacuation currently, so this really is bad for me not having a functional tool.

Would not hold a vacuum. I tried all three with no luck. As soon I removed the valve tool I could hold a vacuum.
