There are new toys on the market but blue isn’t exactly my favorite color, way too expensive (ironic, I know). The best tool is the one you got that will do the job, and I can’t be any more happier with it. Super easy to service, has a magnet on the end to hold the valve core away from the floor or where your moving around, serviceable, and it works extremely well. Quality build by looking at it alone, using it is even better, and moreover it’s a true vacuum rated tool. Awesome!

Very well-made tool. Easy to use. Holds the Schrader valve core very securely. No need to recover the system gas to replace leaking valve cores. Allows for valve core removal for more rapid system evacuation. Vacuum-rated. More expensive than the knock-offs, but well worth the extra $$$. Supplied with extra rubber seals. A very good value in my opinion.

Great concept but very difficult to take out valves. Good news is you can put them on somewhat easily. To take them out I do it on a dry system old school with special Schrader valve tool, then put these on, draw a vacuum, then use this to put valves back on. The problem taking them out is, once you unscrew them the tool does not stick or grasp them! So yes you can unscrew them, but you then cant take them out! Theyre stuck inside the tool which is extremely bad if the system was pressurized. My advice, play with this tool on a dry system first!!!!

It works like a magic. a two stage camber that allow you to transition the valve through the body without loosing pressure. The tool is in high quality. just make sure not to over tight. By the way, Amazon deliver the tool at my front door within 3 hours after I placed the order. Unbelievable. and gas saving . . I am very happy.

Very well built, surpasses every other brand on the market. I purchased 2 of them to use for vacuum down hvac systems.

Pretty awesome piece of gear, seems to be made with pride, very nicely machine finished. Has a nice detent on the ball valve that clicks into place, wasn’t expecting that, very nice detail that lets you know it’s fully open. Glad I went for this one, paid a little more for it, but a few dollars won’t matter if I enjoy using it a few times. I bought it because I run into leaking valves and it’ll be nice to just be able to replace them without having to mess with charge in the system, being able to evacuate quicker and get a T for my micron gage is just a bonus. Very pleased with it so far. It’s very heavy for its size made with plenty of material, nothing thin or cheap about it. Very grippy, easy to tighten with oil on your hands while not digging into your skin like it’s too sharp.. Just a nice little piece.

Took my time to evacuate to under 500 microns down from hours to 20 minutes.

(Update) I ordered a replacement. I found that I had to push very hard to latch the core and then it would pull out along with the retrieving tool. So it does work. The ball valve still have a very rough spot. So I am thinking thats their design, but still worry because it will have premature wear at that spot. With a very hard push to latch, rough ball valve spot and low pressure rating (what if I found leak and use pressure test I would need to take it out first) , its not good for a high price item. ---------------------------- Previous review: defeat the purpose of this tool, or most of it. I could unlock the valve core, but I could not pull it out. I even un-turn the farthest nut to let some pressure out to push the valve out, but it doesnt come out. Also, when I turn the ball valve, near the end, there is a very rough spot and I have to push harder to over come it. I was worry the valve core was there and I was crushing the core, but thats not it. However, this does leave a chance that the valve core is laying there, and I thought its just the normal rough spot. I will have to return or exchange this, since this is not acceptable. I am doing the evacuation currently, so this really is bad for me not having a functional tool.

This little device lets you pull a vacuum if you only have a 3 port gauge manifold and it works perfectly. The magnetic base is amazing for holding your valve cores so you don’t lose them.
